Thanks for 2k guys, genuinely never thought we'd get here.
The ship dropped out of whatever hyperspeed it had been using, causing Peter to ask, "Hey, what's going on?"
"I think we're here," Strange observed.
"I don't think this rig has a self park function," Tony muttered. "Get your hand into this steering gimbal," He told Peter, who was closest to him. Asterin moved to stand near the three men and prepared to launch herself and the others out of the ship. "Close those around it, you got it?"
"Yep, got it."
"This was meant for one big guy, so we gotta move at the same time."
"Ok, ok, ready."
The ship descended into the atmosphere, approaching several odd looking floating...things.
"We might wanna turn, turn, turn! Turn!" Peter yelped.
Asterin braced her legs as the ship collided with one of the floating structures. The ship still flew away from the collision, but undoubtedly had lost some of its bulk around them. "Not to worry, we're still flying half a ship," Ash joked as Strange summoned the large shield that Wong had made earlier. It surrounded them in a sphere, and remained there until the ship was more or less landed. Ash and Strange were the only ones left on their feet, Peter having been thrown upwards to where he had webbed to the ceiling.
"You alright?" Tony asked Strange. He nodded. "That was close, I owe you one."
Peter descended from where he had stuck himself, and while hanging upside down, said, "Let me just say, if aliens wind up implanting eggs in my chest and I eat one of you, I'm sorry."
"I don't want to hear another single pop culture reference outta you for the rest of the trip, you understand?"
"What I'm trying to say is-"
"Something's coming," Ash cut him off, seeing three souls outside of the ship.
A grenade rolled in and they all stared at it, like dumbasses.
Ash's eyes widened with realization, yelping, "Shit!" before quickly flapping backwards.
The grenade let out an energy pulse that shoved the heroes backwards.
Ash landed again, seeing three humanoids walking in. Blinking, she realized that two were aliens.
How bout that.
One was bulky, skin tattooed, one seemed human with a silvery mask with red eyes, and the third with large eyes and antennae-
Her eyes were black.
Several thoughts barreled through Asterin's head.
Demon!
You saw her soul, idiot, she's not a demon.
Antennae?
The tattooed tank rushed forward, shouting, "Thanos!" as he went, making Asterin question his allegiance. He flung a knife at Strange, who deflected it neatly. The Cloak flung itself from his shoulders, covering the alien's face.
The masked one used what appeared to be jet boots and launched himself forward, blasting at Tony and Asterin. Asterin put a hand out, her grace stopping the bolt before deflecting it back at the man. It didn't phase him and he continued blasting forward and moved to fight Tony.
Asterin heard Peter yelp, and she instantly moved to find him.
The kid was crawling backwards on the ground, yelping, "PLEASE DON'T PUT YOUR EGGS IN ME!!"
