Luke's perspective

I was sitting in Ashton's room with him, messing around with his guitars, waiting for him to come back. He had left a few minutes ago to go help Lex get her suitcase down from the top of the closet. She was far too short to reach it.

"Mate, Lexi is freaking out," Ashton sighed as he stepped through the door making my eyebrows furrow in confusion. He plopped down on the bed after that, running a hand through his hair.

"What? Why?" I asked, concern laced in my tone.

"She's just stressed," he began, a small frown lining his lips, "tour starts in a few days and she still doesn't have enough clothes. She doesn't know where she's supposed to find enough clothes that she'll be comfortable in. She only has a few outfits from shopping with Cal and you, the rest are at Cody's." He looked down to his bedsheets as I sat silently. She doesn't deserve whatever that dick put her through. She should be confident, she's always been confident. Lex is gorgeous and I hate that she feels less than that because of her joke of an ex. "I'm gonna have to go talk to him," Ash decided, making me snap my eyes up to him, partially in fear.

"I'll go do it," I replied without much thought.

"Luke, I'm not gonna make you go talk to my sisters ex to get her stuff back." I was already getting up and throwing my jean jacket over my shoulders.

"Nah, mate, I'm on it," I called as I rushed down the stairs. I slipped my shoes on, spinning the key ring on my finger while I made my way to my car.

My stomach grew nervously as I drove to his house. I hope he still lives in the same place. I couldn't risk Ashton coming here and Cody telling him what happened, he'd tell Lex and then she'd never talk to me again. I know we don't get along all the time, but god, I never want the girl to despise me. She can't find out what I did.

I pulled up outside the familiar house, putting the car in park. With a deep breath, I stepped out of the vehicle, slowly walking up to the house. I knocked on the door waiting patiently for the door to open. It took a few minutes but eventually it did, opening up to the jackass himself. Hickies were scattered over his bare chest, grey sweatpants hung low on his waist.

"Luke," he began, obviously nervous. I couldn't help but smirk as I brushed one of my golden curls behind my ears. I couldn't even lie, I liked that I made him nervous.

"Lex's stuff," is all I said in return. It wasn't a question, it was a demand. Unfortunately, now he decided to get cocky.

"You gonna beat me up again if I don't give it to you?" I rolled my eyes despite the sinking feeling in my stomach. The thought of Lex finding out terrified me.

"Maybe," I replied instead, "Don't you fuckin' dare tell her about that."

"What, you still trying to hide your raging boner for her?" He asked cockily, I just couldn't help but roll my eyes at him again. I don't have a raging boner for Lex, I don't even like her half the time. But, I ruined her relationship, I have to make that up to her somehow.

"Shut up," I growled, "I don't have a thing for Lex. I just need you to give me her stuff before there's a problem."

"I don't want it anyway," He mumbled, closing the door in my face. I leaned against the brick wall of his house waiting patiently for it. The door opened a few minutes later, Cody holding two duffle bags I easily recognized. One had the Lizzie Mcguire pin Cal got her for Christmas the first year we knew her and Ash. The other one had marker scribbles all over it, courteously of teenage Mike and I. The two bags she always took on tour. Ever since she was 15. "Here," he groaned, shoving the bags over.
