There's only a week left before (G)I-dle's most awaited solo concert. The girls are rehearsing non-stop, they even increased their time practicing just to make sure that everything goes well.
As usual, I'm just staying in the dorm and cleaning around the place. Hui doesn't need me today, though I've been visiting her grandmother for the past few days.
It's 4:30pm and since I was done with nearly everything that I had to do, I decided to browse the internet. I joined (G)I-dle's fanclub a long time ago, but I rarely check it out because really.. why would I?
I'm basically living with them everyday.
I get to experience what their fans have been dreaming of. I know just how lucky I am, but my position right now isn't that easy either..
I've been avoiding two of their members and dating one. Basically, there's only three left that I have as friends and could act normal with.
On their fanclub's site, I saw that the tickets were sold out by this time already. They're indeed popular and it makes me so proud of them because I can see how much they're working hard for it everyday.
I also saw how the fans were reacting to the upcoming concert, everybody was really excited. Although I still have no plans for it, I have a feeling that they will ask me to come anyway.
At 7pm, the girls arrived in their training clothes.
Shuhua immediately hugged me, "Abby Unnie! What's our food?"
I gently pulled away as I smiled at her. "Kimchi stew. Go ahead and eat."
The rest of the girls joined her, except for Soojin. It immediately caught her attention.
"Unnie, where are you going?" She asked Soojin who was already on her way upstairs.
Soojin just looked at me impassively then to Shuhua. "I-I'm not feeling well."
I guess it's because I'm here.. Because I'm the one who cooked it. She's avoiding me.
Shuhua dropped her spoon and immediately stood up. "Soojin Unnie! Come on, we haven't eaten anything at all!"
But Soojin just shook her head and continued heading upstairs. Shuhua ran after her, leaving the five of us at the dining table.
Minnie, who was sitting beside me, suddenly held my hand below the table.
Does she know?
But thankfully, she just smiled at me. I'm not sure if it was to calm me down since Soojin basically rejected what I cooked.
This is really bad though.. I mean I'm their dorm keeper and I'm going to be the one cooking for them majority of the time, but if she refuses to eat because I made it.. what's going to happen to her then?
"Maybe she's just feeling sick," Soyeon said while eating.
"Yeah," Yuqi looked at her then to me. "I'm sure she is. Don't worry."
I smiled at them.
Meanwhile, Miyeon suddenly spoke. "You're oddly using one hand to eat, huh?"
I didn't know what she meant at first, but when I saw who she was looking at, I gulped nervously.
Minnie has only been using one of her hands for the spoon, while her other was still on mine.
"Hmm?" Minnie replied, unbothered.
"Your hand. Did you injure the other one?" Miyeon kept asking the same thing.
It got Soyeon and Yuqi's attention as well.
