ABBY's POV

"Still no messages from Soojin?" Soyeon asked Shuhua who has been resting her head on the table for about half an hour now.

Shuhua sadly shook her head. "None."

We're currently in the dorm after their performance of Don't Touch Me earlier today. Without Soojin's presence, the fans were pretty much questioning what happened to her non-stop. Soyeon told the managers that Soojin is sick, so they'll have to remove her from the performance. But the thing is, none of us really knows where she went..

She hasn't been returning our phone calls for a few days now. Everyone is dead worried about her. I couldn't sleep at night thinking that something bad might have already happened to her. The rest of the members haven't directly talked to me about her either, they could've blamed it on me but they never did.

However, I could see it right through their eyes. How lost and incomplete they are since Soojin left them. I never stopped calling or texting her ever since that day, but there's just no reply.

I checked their fanclub sites and saw how their fans were reacting.

Seriously, where is Seo Soojin?

Did something bad happen to her?

The company said she's currently sick, but they didn't provide us other information.

They're being suspicious though..

The members looked tired while performing, they could barely smile.

Something is definitely going on between them..

I hope they're alright though.

It's only for one performance, but I miss seeing her on the stage already.

Soojin Unnie, we're praying for your recovery!

I was about to turn my phone off after reading the comments, when a new message suddenly popped up. I quickly checked my inbox, but after seeing who it was from, I almost dropped my phone in surprise.

From Seo Soojin

I'm staying at my family's vacation house. I'm safe, tell the members not to worry about me. I'm going to talk to the company because I think I need more time.

"S-Soojin texted me!" I unbelievably said to them.

"What?" Soyeon immediately walked towards me. "What did she say?"

I showed her the screen of my phone and she read it outloud for the rest of the members.

All of them sighed in relief, except for one--Yeh Shuhua. She suddenly started crying, which caught us by surprise.

She still seemed miserable and seeing her like this makes my heart ache.

"Hey.." Yuqi patted her back. "W-What's wrong? Soojin Unnie says she's alright."

She just shook her head. "I-It's nothing.."

"Nothing? But you're crying!"

Soyeon worriedly looked at her. "Shuhua-yah, what is it?"

Everyone's attention was suddenly on her and I felt like she was pressured, so she couldn't speak up.

I took a deep breath as I sat beside her and held her hand. "Shuhua, do you want to talk?"

The truth is.. she's been acting differently towards me recently. Cold stares, hesitant actions, and even silent treatment.

I knew that I had to sort things out between us somehow. That I can't let her ignore me like this for long because I'm working for them and I need to attend to her needs. I just gave her enough time and space to let her reach out to me on her own, but she never did.
