Marks daughter

Part 5

Mia was in the car with her grandparents. She sat in her car seat next to her grand mother. Her grand father was in the driver seat. Her grand mother for some reason was scared of the passenger seat so she sat in the back next to Mia.

Mia was singing along o the nursery rhymes as they drove to the grocery store. All of a sudden there was a bright light as a truck crashed into the driver side of the car. As glass shattered all around, Mias grandmother tried to protect her grand child by wrapping her own body over the little girl. Mia screamed as darkness took over her.

Mark rushed to the hospital as soon as he got the call. His mind going crazy. His family had an accident. His father. His mother. His daughter. He had sworn to keep his daughter safe from any sort of harm and now she was in the hospital, injured. Jinyoung and Jackson had followed Mark when the older had rushed out of the dorm in a panic.

"I'm Mark Tuan. My family had an accident today." Mark said as he reached the reception. The nurse nodded. "Your father is in the operation theatre. The young girl is fine but you can't see her yet. She isn't that injured just a broken arm. Your mother managed to save her but I'm afraid she couldn't survive in that process."

Mark felt his tears roll down his cheeks. His mother was gone. He rushed first to the operation room to hear the doctors words "Patient Mr.Tuan. Time of death 15:23." Mark sobbed. His father. His parents were both gone. He was alone. He didn't know how he would tell his siblings.

"Hyung." Jackson pulled the eldest in for a hug as a nurse approached them. "Mr.Tuan, you can go see her." Mark nodded as he wiped away his tears. Getting up he headed to the instructed room. He had his daughter to take care of. She needed him.

Rushing in he saw his fragile daughter laying on the bed. Her left arm in a cast. Her eyes closed as she peacefully slept. Mark approached the young girl. "Thank god you're okay baby." He muttered kissing her forehead.

Jinyoung and Jackson stood near the wall confused. Mark had never mentioned this girl. Who was she? They knew he had two sisters but he had never mentioned a toddler. Sharing a look of confusion the two turned to the eldest waiting for an explanation.

Mia opened her eyes slowly. "Appa." She called out seeing her father sitting beside her bed. Why hadn't he called before hand? Mark grabbed her hand. "I'm here baby. Appa's here. I've got you." Mia looked at him. "Appa came? Ma and Pa? Where are they?" Mark choked back a sob. "Eomma asked them to be stars with her. She was feeling lonely alone up there."

Appa!? The boys thought. Mark had a daughter???? Since when? Why did they never know???

"What about me? I'll be lonely now. I need Ma and Pa." Mia said as a tear escaped her eyes. "No. Mia will stay with her Appa now so that Both Mia and her Eomma never feel lonely." The boys turned to look at the door. JYP stood there. He smiled as he approached the little girl. 

"Really samchon?" He nodded. "You miss Appa and he misses you all the time. So now you can stay with him. That way no one will be lonely." Turning to the boys he finally spoke "Let's go. I'll explain everything. Mia has been discharged."

Mia frowned at her cast as she sat in her car seat next to her father. Everyone was quiet when all of a sudden she burst out crying. "Mia? What's wrong baby?" Mark asked as he picked up the little girl placing her in his lap. "Appa! It's ugly!" She whined.

Jackson had turned to see the commotion and smiled and the sight. Mia was now sitting in Marks lap her head buried in his chest sniffing lightly. Mark had his arms wrapped around the girl as he tried to comfort her but it didn't work. 

"Mia." Jackson called out. The girl raised her head slightly. "If you stop crying when we get home we'll make it very pretty. We can even draw on it." He said as she gasped and looked at Mark "Really?" Mark nodded as Mia smiled.

Once the boys reached the dorm Mark tried to get Mia out of her carseat but she refused. "NO! I want Jackson Oppa!" She begged. Mark sighed and turned to Jackson who smiled and picked up the little girl.

As they entered the dorm the other members rushed to them. "HYUNG!" Bambam shouted. "Awww. Who's this?" Yugeyom asked as he saw Mia. Scared of the loud noises Mia whimpered. "Appa!" She called out searching for Mark who was outside bringing her stuff. 

She had seen pictures of these people but she wanted her Appa with her. She knew who they were but meeting them without her father was scary for her. The loud voices and questions were scaring her and she wanted her Appa to hold her.

Unable to see her father she began crying as Jackson tried to comfort her. As soon as Mark heard her sobs he rushed to his daughter. "Mia. I'm right here princess. Appa's got you." He said as he held her till she calmed down. "Appa, it' scary. Wanna go home. Want Ma and Pa." Mark sighed as he hugged her. "I know baby. I'm sorry. We can't go home. Don't worry, I'll scold them for scaring my baby."

The boys were all shocked. Appa????? Mark had a daughter???

As the boys all sat down JYP began to explain. "Mia is Marks daughter. She was born nearly 18 months before debut. We hid her from everyone including you guys. She lived with her grandparents since her mother died giving birth to her. We can't send her to her aunts or her uncle since that'll be to far away from her father.."

The boys didn't know how to react. Should they be angry? Happy? Sad? All the boys were confused but two were heart broken. Knowing that Mark had a daughter ended all their dreams.

Mark came downstairs soon after JYP left with Mia in his lap. "I know this is shocking and hard. I'm sorry but I really don't have a choice." Mia looked up at her father. "Appa? When we make it pretty? You promised." She said pointing to her cast.

Jackson smiled at her. Even though he knew he had no chance with Mark anymore he couldn't help but coo at the little girl. Standing up he went to get markers. "Come on Mia. Let's make it pretty." He said as Mark let her off his lap. Soon the maknae line joined as they decorated her cast.

Mark sat on the couch smiling when JB and Jinyoung hugged him. "Don't worry. We're here to help you. She'll be fine." Mark nodded. He was glad his members were so accepting. He knew this would be a bumpy ride but with all the boys with he would make it.

That night when dinner began the boys began eating while Mia sat on her fathers lap. Mark fed her alongside. Once she was finished she smiled at the boys "Thank you!" JB smiled and ruffled her hair. "You can go play sweet heart." Mark smiled as he knew the reply. Mia shook her head. "Pa says you shouldn't leave the table till everyones finished. It's rude to leave."

The boys couldn't help but fall in love with her cute antics. Mia was outgoing and absolutely adorable. Mark knew that she would soon have the boys wrapped around her finger.

Jackson walked into his room to see the father daughter. Mark was fast asleep. He was sitting up in bed and Mia was cuddled up next to him. A story book was on Marks lap. Mia smiled as she saw Jackson placing a finger on her lips.

Jackson nodded as he approached her. Taking the book away from his hyung he helped Mark lay down before tucking Mia in next to him. "Good night." Mia mouthed. He smiled and mouthed back "Good night."
