Early August in Diagon Alley was absolute bliss, the witch batted her eyes to the packed alley. Her hands gripping Alphard Zygo's arm tightly. He was raising the list their Nana made. "Okay, last stop, Flourish and Blotts for books."

Gemma looked up, "Ooh! Can we stop for ice cream later, please?"

Alphard smiled, "Don't see why not."

The heirs went into the book store, rummaging between the bookshelves for Gemma's necessity in a hurry, the excitement of getting ice cream right after lit her like a seven-year-olds. Her fingers traced on the charms book when she heard.

"Jacob, keep your hands off that!" a lady told her son sharply, "No dark jinxes in school!"

The boy groaned, rolling his eyes. Gemma tore her gaze to a ginger-haired man meddling them holding a black-haired toddler eating a caramel toffee on one hand. "Emmie!" the man warned, set the little girl's hand away from a bookshelf gently, "Nee, Schatje."

The girl scowled throwing an attitude as Gemma smiled staring at the family. She was longing for it, her heart ached she remembered taking Alpha there for his first year with her parents too. That seemed so long ago, she stirred to find Alphard was talking to someone. A lady dressed properly in a sage green robe kept her chin high of elegance.

Her boots polished so frequently that she could mirror herself in it. Raven hair curled and styled suiting her mannerism, her crimson lips twitched into a smirk. Her language oh so well-thought that Gammaliel shiver to decipher it. Alpha tore his gaze to her, waving, "Gemma!"

Well, crap. Gemma thought as he beckoned her to come approached him. Gulping her nervous, her hands straightened her little white dress to look way more presentable. Alphard was always well-dressed and popular among the wizarding community for his charming look. Gemma often forgot the burden of her name unless she hung out with him.

Of how many lots he had to remember and met, or the questions to set his sister up with a pure-blood heir. Rosier was the first but, it was far too early that the heir had to politely decline their offer for the sake of his sister's sanity. Gemma was his ward, and the heir took the part well the past years.
