The second Aaron made his presence known, the bull pen blanketed in quietness

The second Aaron made his presence known, the bull pen blanketed in quietness. Reid grabbed a book, Rossi left to his office. Derek full on left the room. I stood with my back to him very much aware of his stare. I swallow thickly and turn around, my face blank of any emotion.

"Hotch." I acknowledge.

He visibly flinches at the formality, "Dani." was his strangled response. He looks as if he was holding back. Like he wanted to say more. Do more.

The silence seems to make an appearance again and we just stare. Him looking dazed me not knowing what to say. Clearing my throat I nod towards the conference room, "We should review the case." I state, walking past him.

He straightens up, following me, "Hey, this is my case Ms. Valentino." he argues, dress shoes clacking do to his long confident strides.

"Technically Mr. Important asked for me specifically, that makes it my case."

He grunts, "How so?"

Turning around I bring him to a stop, "Because everything's at my disposal, not yours. He knew my name, not yours. Trusts me to find her, not you. Oh and the obvious, I have immunity, I can get away with breaking the law in his favor without it coming back to him or me so..." I trail off, an eyebrow raised.

He's silent, his profiling face. Great. I turn back around and take a seat in my old spot, not glancing up as the room fills with my old collogues. I am going to murder Clyde.

Once everyone is seated, I look up, "Is everyone caught up on the case?" I ask in monotone, glancing at each of them the same amount of time. They all nod.

"They think it's connected to the murders of Lena Michelle, Carry Zain, Reese Ally, and Andrea Emmett." JJ says.

I look up at her, "And what do we think?"

"It's probable."

Nodding, I glance at the file, "What were the injuries?"

Reid clears his throat, "All of them showed signs of rape. Bruising on both the arms and legs, ligature marks on their wrists." he explains.

I nod, "COD?"

"Strangulation."

"Up close and personal, got it. So he strangled them, stabbed them, then placed a bag over their head afterwards. What were they strangled with?" I ask.

Derek speaks up, "A belt." I hum in response.

Licking my lips, I bite down on my bottom one in thought, "So the bag is obviously important, it's not the object he strangled them with at all but he still felt the need to place it on the victims head after they are deceased. Interesting." I mumble the last part, leaning back in my chair.

"Sadistic rapist?" Emily offers.

I shrug, "Maybe, something doesn't fit though."

Reid pipes up, "You know, strangulation and suffocation are two very different things. One cuts off air supply by closure of blood vessels and air passages in the neck as a result of external pressures on the neck well the other doesn't let air into the lungs causing the body to shut down do to lack of oxygen." he states.

"Sounds the same to me." Morgan mutters.

I ignore him, "Right, so why did he kill the victims with strangulation but place a bag representing suffocation over their heads after they were dead?"

"Maybe he was smothered when he was a kid?" JJ offers.

Aaron nods, "Maybe he has trauma involving suffocation and its an impulse driven need to leave the bag over their heads." he spitballs.

Nodding slightly, I tilt my head to the side, "What if the bags were already over the heads?" I ask.

Rossi nods along with me, "Right, if they were something to cover up the victims faces well he rapes and strangles them, it would makes sense."

"And going off of what Hotch said, his impulse wouldn't be the bag, it would be the rape. And once he realizes what he did, he would think the only way out of it would be to kill them."

I glance up at Reid, "Where were the victims raped?" I ask.

"The kitchen."

Glances up at Rossi, I raise an eyebrow, "Where do you keep your plastic bags?"

"Under the kitchen sink."

"Morgan?"

"Under the kitchen sink."

"Hotch."

The room grows silent, everyone still not excepting the whole last name thing. He glances up at me with a face that screams 'you know where I keep my fucking bags' but he complies, "Under my kitchen sink." he confirms.

I nod, "Right, so he's a opportunist, he probably doesn't plan to rape and murder these girls," I claim.

Rossi nods, "He probably met them before and got the wrong idea."

"He probably asked for a number and they refused. He got angry, snapped." Emily offers.

I nod, "Call Garcia, have her go through  Melanie's last week going up to her being reported missing. See if anything or anyone is repeated." I instruct, standing up.

"I'll be back in 30." I announce, walking out of the room.

I pull out my phone, dialing Clyde's number.

It rings before his arrogant voice sounds 'I knew you missed me.'

"Who is it Clyde?" I ignore his statement.

'Who is who?' He plays dumb.

I clench my jaw, "Who knows about Eve?" I demand.

Clyde sighs, 'I can't-'

"Do not test me twat, I am far from the mood."

'Did you just!? Jesus are you PMSing?'

"Clyde.." I warn.

'VP.' He mumbles.

I snort, "The Vice President- wow."

'Dani you can't repeat this.'

"In order to do my job Clyde, my team needs to know any and all information pertaining to the victim so we can predict proper victimology. If I find out you're keeping something from me I'll pay you a not so nice visit with a not so nice present, again."

'I still hurt.'

"What do that Americans say? Cry me a river?"

'Danielle.'

"Oh Clyde you amuse me."

'Do you remember when you were nice?'

I pretend to think by quietening down.

"Nah."
