As Rafe and Danny were on their mission, All Danny thought about was Charlotte. He didn't know how she was or how his child was. But he had to stay. He didn't want to anymore. He couldn't. One night he was fully awake writing to Charlotte.
Dearest Charlotte,
I miss you more than you realize. I wish to see you everyday. A part of me doesn't want to be on this mission anymore. I'd rather be with you more than ever. I know I have to complete this mission and once I do I'm not going back. I will make my resignation to Doolittle immediately. I love you so much my Angel and I will be back. I promise.
Love Danny,
"Rafe..." Danny whispered knowing that Rafe was asleep.
"Hmmmm..." Rafe woke up slightly.
"Do you think I should go back?" He asked him. "Back to Charlotte."
Rafe woke up completely. "what are you saying?"
"Should I see if Doolittle will send me home?"
"It doesn't work that way Danny." Rafe said sternly, "You have to stay."
"I know but..."
Rafe knew how much Danny cared about Charlotte. Danny really needed to see her. That's all he wanted to do.
"We will talk about it soon, we have a huge assignment in the morning."
