"Harv?" Adam walked into the hockey rink and saw Harvey, angrily hitting pucks into the net with her stick. He could hear her crying as she slapped more and more pucks in the direction of the net, completely missing do to the fact that she couldn't see becasue her tears were blurring her vision. Adam knew why she was crying, and he would be crying too, but he was too worried about Harvey. He walked onto the ice and came up behind Harvey, placing a hand on her arm to stop her from hitting pucks.

"I don't want to leave Adam." She dropped her hockey stick as Adam pulled her close to him. "If they take my scholarship, I have to leave. I don't want to leave you, Adam." Harvey didn't want a long distance relationship with Adam, she wanted to be close to him, hug him, hold hands with him, nap with him, kiss him, she wanted to love him, ad she couldn't do it in a long distance relationship. Adam's hands cupped her face, making her look up at him. His thumbs wiped the tears off of her face as he kissed her forehead and then her nose, making her smile.

"Everything will be okay. No matter what happens, we'll make it work. Okay?" She nodded her head and wrapped her arms around her boyfriend as he wrapped his around her shoulders, laying his head atop hers. "I love you, Harvey. Okay? And I'll love you no matter what happens to us." She muttered a small, I love you too, before pulling away from him and picking her hockey stick back up. She walked towards the net and grabbed all of the pucks that were laying on the ice, putting them in a bag before walking towards Adam and holding her hand out.

"C'mon, I gotta call my mom and let her know what's happening." Adam happily grabbed her hand and they both walked off the ice and made their way to Adam's room, where Harvey's friends weren't waiting for her. Harvey placed the bag down next to the end of his bed and grabbed the phone off his desk, dialing her mom's number. The phone rang for about five seconds before her mom picked up. "Mama?"

"Harvey? Mija, what's wrong? You sound sad." Harvey choked back a few tears but smiled through it.

"The school said that if the board meeting tomorrow goes like its supposed to, Luis and I might have to come home." Her voice cracked at the end as her mom let out a, what, asking her if she was being serious with her. "Luis said that it's for the well being our or futures and the schools'." She sat down in his desk chair as he stood behind her, arms wrapped around her.

"Is Adam getting his taken away as well?" Harvey leaned back and looked up at Adam as he kissed her forehead and nodded his head. She muttered a simple, yes, before a tear fell from her eye.

"Mom, I'll call you later. I'm not feeling well anymore." Adam moved away from behind her chair and crouched in front of her, grabbing her hand and wiping her tears. "I love you too. Bye." She hung up the phone, put it back, and looked at Adam. "I really don't wanna go back." The boy chuckled as she squeezed his hands tighter.

"I don't want you too either, Harv."

..........

All of the ducks stood next to each other as the board decided wether or not they were going to stay at Eden Hall. Harvey had stopped crying the night before becasue she knew that they would stay together. She stood in between Guy and Adam, holding her boyfriends hand as the adults talked.

"Do I have a motion for reconsideration?" Board members muttered and talked quietly but no one raised their hands to say anything about the team letting them have their scholarships back. "I'm sorry coach but unless there is a motion from a board member and a second, the decision must stand." Coach Orion nodded his head as he looked down at the floor.

"You leave us no choice but to bring in our attorney." Harvey looked at Rick Riley, who was smirking up until Orion called for their attorney. She smiled at him as the doors opened, and in walks Coach Bombay.

"Dean Buckley, members of the board." Bombay walked past the team, flashing each of them a smile, telling them that everything will be okay. "As counsel for Coach Orion and the freshman hockey team, I'm here today to set forth your legal options, so that you may make the best possible options for all parties concerned." Harveylooked up at Adam and smiled before leaning her head on his shoulder, knowing, everything would be okay.

"Mr. Bombay, this isn't a legal proceeding." Bombay just smiled and looked at the Dean.

"Not yet, but I can assure you it will be." Some of the board members looked around at each other, shaking their heads and mumbling to one another. Bombay held up his briefcase towards the Dean. "Do you mind?" Dean Buckley grabbed the briefcase and just held it, not knowing what to do with it. "These scholarships, an offer, became a binding contract upon the signatures of the recipients and acceptance by the Ducks. They cannot be voided except for cause which, I guarantee you, you have none. Should you decide to pursue their cancellation, I will slap you with an injunction." Harvey chuckled, making Adam smile. His girl was finally smiling, his Harvey. "I will tie this matter up in court for years, till as long as these kids have gone to college. And I will collect damages. I will win, becasue I am very, very good." Everyone smiled in response, knowing it was true. Harvey smirked when she saw Charlie and Linda, an upperclassman, looking at each other with smiles plastered on their faces. "You know why I'm so good? Because I had a good education, and you gave it to me. And you're gonna give it to these kids. Now some of you may be snobbish to believe that these Ducks don't belong at Eden hall. But let me tell ya, you are dead wrong. These are remarkable young people. You give them their full shot, and I promise you that they will succeed not only on the ice, but in the classrooms as well. These people are my friends, and I know what they can do." Harvey couldn't help but smile at the looks on the varsity teams faces. "Accordingly, I demand that you reinstate their scholarships, for their benefit, and for your own." Bombay walked away from Dean Buckley to shake hands with Coach Orion, waiting for answers and Dean Buckley stood their, also waiting with a smile on his face.

"I move that the scholarships be reinstated." Harvey smiled as Adam squeezed her hand, telling her he knew everything would be okay, just like he said. At this point, Dean Buckley that anyone agreed.

"Is there a second?" Harvey removed her head from her boyfriends shoulder and watched, hoping someone would raise their hand, and someone did. The man next to the woman raised his hand as the second vote. "All in favor?" Rick Riley's father, Mr. Riley, was the last and final one to raise his hand, making Rick scoff in annoyance. "Scholarships reinstated." Everyone clapped and cheered as Harvey and Adam hugged. She was gonna stay and they were going to stay together.
