Chapter 19

Riley's POV

It's been real quiet for the past few days, since both Patrick and Jonathan were in Columbus for the All Star game. Mia was there as well, yes her and Patrick finally made up. As for me and Jonathan not so much, and honestly I could careless. As harsh as it sounds it's true, ever since him and Lindsey got back together we've been distance. I can't remember the last time we hung out just the two of us. I've also noticed his attitude has changed a lot, in the past few weeks. I don't know what's up with that, but whatever I guess.

"Mia is so lucky she gets to watch the skills competition." I pout as Erik and I sit on Patrick's couch watching the game.

Yes Erik and I have gotten closer in the past couple of days

"That girl has found a keeper." Erik smiles as we watch the fastest skater.

"That she has." Hopefully I'll be that lucky.

"I'll make you a deal. I'll take you to the game tomorrow if you agree to be my girlfriend." He winks.

Oh my god he's asking me out!

"Deal!"

"I was kidding, you don't have to be my girlfriend to go to the game with me. I'm taking you because Miss Mia requested her two best friends to be there cheering with her." He laughs.

I was hoping he was asking me out.

I frown a little but replace it with a smile before he notices it

"Wait are you serious?"

"Yes of course!"

"Oh my god, this is so exciting!!!" I say jumping up and down

Erik just laughs at me

"When do we leave?" I ask calming down

"Um well our flight leaves in like two hours so like soon."

"When were you planning on telling me this?" I stand up

"Oh you know like whenever." Erik laughs standing up as well

I just roll my eyes at him

"Oh shit! I have to tell Patrick and Abby, and get all my stuff together."

"Hey don't worry about it, I already took care all of that." Erik reassures me

"You're amazing you know that?" I wrap my arms around his torso

"Yeah I already knew that, but thanks for letting me know." He jokes wrapping his arms around me

I just roll my eyes at him, playfully punching his shoulder as I pull away

The flight to Columbus wasn't too bad, we got in a few hours after the skills competition ended. We checked in to the hotel, and went straight to our room. Mia already had a room booked for us, obviously one with two beds. When we walked in our breathe was taken away. The room was huge and we had a beautiful view of the city.

"Wow." I breathe

"Woah." I hear Erik say behind me

I didn't expect for us to have a suite. I mean we were only stay for a day maybe two, but perks of Patrick I guess. After exploring our room for about ten minutes, we get ready for bed. It might of been early but let me tell you we were pooped. I didn't know flying could be so tiring, I don't understand how my uncle or should I say the whole team does it just about every week.

"Night Erik." I say jumping into my bed

"Night Riley." He laughs doing the same

As soon as my head hits the pillow I'm out as a light.
