"okay, decorations, presents, food-"

nini gets cut off by the sound of a knock at the door of ricky's apartment - she had a spare key, so they got ricky out of the house with gina to decorate the apartment.

she looks at seb, ashlyn and kourtney that were busy preparing everything and puts her clipboard down, rushing over to the door to open it

"hey!" carlos and big red exclaim happily

nini smiles widely and brings them in for a hug before leading them over to where they can put the presents and food that they brought

"okay, gina is still busy with ricky," big red says as he puts the platter of cookies on the counter

"what exactly did she do to get him-"

"she took him to the mall as a wingman." carlos smirks

nini shakes her head with a small laugh as she continues to set everything up

another knock is heard at the door and nini heads over to it once again, this time opening it to see quinn and two boys standing behind her

"hi! glad you guys could make it!" nini exclaims with a smile, trying to sound as enthusiastic as she could

"this is max and luke," quinn introduces as she walks in

nini nods towards them and they both smile back as they follow quinn in the apartment

"so, what's the plan exactly?" max asks

"gina is with ricky and she's going to bring him in a few minutes." seb explains as he arrives towards them

max and luke both nod as they head over to mingle and meet everyone

quinn sits on the couch and looks around her, taking in the surroundings as well as all of the pictures of ricky and nini

nini went over to the kitchen and took a few cups before seeing the door open with big red coming through

"hey red, what's up?" she asks

"i-okay, to be honest i was coming to sneak one of ricky's sour patch kids- i'm sorry i can't lie." he groans as he sits on the stool

nini laughs weakly as she takes a bottle of water from the fridge, to which he notices isn't as genuine as it could've been.

"you okay?" he asks her

she looks at him "why would you think otherwise?"

the boy laughs "ricky's not the only one who's known you for ages."

nini joins him and sighs "i-i just have a feeling."

big red nods "quinn right?"

nini takes a deep breath "yeah. i mean-i just-she gives me the wrong feeling-like she's trying something."

big red nods in understanding "yeah, but you know you don't have to worry. ricky is crazy about you. he wouldn't hurt you." he smiles

nini returns the gesture "i trust him. i just-"

"don't trust her?"

nini sighs and big red walks over to her

"well, even if she did try, ricky would turn her down the minute he figured it out." he assures her

nini nods "thanks red."

"always." he beams as he takes the little packet of sour patch kids hidden under the sink and walks out of the kitchen
