nini sat at the grand piano as she aimlessly pressed the c key with her index finger repeatedly
she stared at the white keys before her and couldn't stop her mind from thinking of ricky
flashback
"ricky!" the little toddler exclaims happily as she runs to the entrance of her door
"hi nini!" the little curly-haired boy greets as he skips through the front door after saying goodbye to his mom
nini giggles as her small hand took ahold of his and ran to the living room
"look what momma c and momma d got me!" she squeals
the boy gasps when he sees the large piano
"is it a spaceship?!" he jumps with a giddy smile
nini sighs "no ricky, it's a piano!"
"a pinini?" he asks confused
"no, a piano." she corrects "it's a big music intrumsent and i'm going to learn how to play it!"
"what's an intrumsent?" he asks
nini shrugs her shoulders "its a big word momma c used when she told me about the piano. she said it was a very beautiful one."
ricky gasps "no way."
"yes way." she says "come on,"
the two rush to the bench and climb up onto it with each other's help until they're both seated
nini looks at ricky to help her open the piano and they put all their might into it until the white and black keys were visibly shown before them
"wow-uh-its a lot of-buttons." ricky says
nini giggles "look what i learned."
she puts her small index finger on the middle c key and presses on it softly, making a soothing piano sound
