Jerome had already passed you and was waiting for you in your house. You walked in to find him sprawled out across your sofa, head resting on his hand. "Took ya long enough" He spoke, straight faced. He hadn't changed a bit.

It was very weird seeing him with his face literally stapled on; you never thought it was even possible. It was definitely something you were going to have to get used to, he would occasionally pull out his staple gun and staple his face back on like it was a normal thing to do. Even with a face cut off, you still found him to be just as hot as he was pre-death.

"I'm bored, wanna play hide and seek" Out of no where, Jerome jumped up off the sofa and pranced over to you with suggestive eyes. No way was he actually serious.

"What are you, five?" You joked back giggling. "Yeah, five heads taller than you" Jerome smirked as he stopped dead in front of you. Crossing your arms you gave him a death stare followed by an uncomfortable long silence. "Please don't kill me" Jerome held up his hands and walked backwards eventually backing up a bit too far. Jerome hit the end of the sofa and fell completely backwards landing on the other side.

You burst into laughter, walking round to find him crumpled on the floor with his legs dangling in the air like something out of a cartoon. "Shut up" He snapped back trying desperately to aid himself up. For the first time in a while you actually felt happy, you were laughing and joking around with someone who genuinely made you smile.

"So what does it feel like, you know, being alive again?" You wanted to talk to him all night, non stop, just to hear his voice in reality rather than in your head. "Well ya know, death is.. Dull, but this, this is something new. Give it to dying to give ya a whole new perspective on life. People can do what they want, kill who they want" That was the moment.

The moment you were reminded of who this was and what he had done. Somehow, even after committing all those crimes, you still found your self forgetting it all and getting lost in his boyishly cute looks and attitude. Sometimes you mistook him for a normal person.

"What was it like without me huh? Boring? Miserable? I mean cmon, who wouldn't miss me" Jerome stood up and smirked at you with pride. "Actually, it was quite fun, I stayed out of trouble. I lived life" You lied, smiling at him as he walked closer.

"Hmmm. Now tell the truth" Jerome was inches from your face. "Fine. It was horrible. I never felt happy, hell most of the time I wanted to join you, wherever you were, I hated not being with you" Your eyes moved from him down to the floor, remembering the trauma you felt that night onwards.

Jerome placed a hand on your chin and lifted it up "look at me" His dominance forced you to look into his deep blue eyes, it was so easy to get lost in them. "I'm here now. Forget what happened" Without warning your eyes began to fill with warm tears as they fell gently down your face "promise me.. You'll never leave me again" You choked on your words trying desperately to hold yourself together.

Jerome leaned down towards your ear, his hot breath tickled your neck as he whispered "I promise" He lifted his head back up and placed a hand on your hair, weaving his fingers in and out. Pulling your head towards him, he leaned in and kissed you softly but passionately. The kiss felt alive like the beginning of a new chapter in life, you didn't want it to end.

Something always had to ruin the happy moment; Liam had began crying from upstairs. "Since when did you have a child?" Jerome glared at you in both confusing and anger. How had you not told him before. "Chill out. That's Liam, my baby brother" You laughed in his face, watching him frown in awkwardness.

The pair of you went upstairs to calm Liam down. You walked in first and lifted him up into your arms sushing him but it was no use, he wouldn't stop crying. "Here let me" Jerome had walked in behind you and held out his arms for Liam. Gently, you placed him in Jerome's arms and watched him instantly stop crying. You looked up to Jerome who was beaming with smugness knowing he had accomplished something you hadn't.
