Chapter 1: Just Wait

Farah was pacing around the living room, Thor was sitting on the couch leaning over his hands that covered his mouth, all while Arash was in the medical bed in the room ready to be rolled up as soon as Doctor Strange opens the portal that will led them to Persia.
"Where the hell is he? He told that we need be here in time and he is the one late, I don't even like that we need his help, he is an asshole" – said Farah still pacing
"Perhaps you can sit down and wait as well" – suggested Thor in a neutral tone
"I don't want to sit down" – said Farah shaking his head
"Do you really think his uncle will help him?" – asked Thor to the girl referring to the unsure state of his friend
"I don't know Thor, I just know that I promised his aunt to take care of him and I'm going to get him back like this" – said Farah stopping for a moment signaling at Arash – "if he is...this is gonna be awful, from the funeral to live without him...not even growing up an orphan felt as bad as I'm feeling right now" – she added looking at the face of the Persian boy before sighing deeply
"I lost my mother, my father, my brother, one of my good friends, my people, Natasha, Vision and now..." – trailed Thor turning to look at Arash
"Oh god...I must sound like such a whiny girl talking about grief to you" – said Farah moving his hands to rest on her forehead before she sighed and put them down – "I'm sorry Thor" – she said to the blonde man
The man turned to look at the girl and just nod at her before resuming the position he had before and looked at the ground while Farah decided to pay attention to what the Asgardian said and sat on a couch while they waited for Strange to appear.
"He is the closest thing I had to a family" – said Farah – "I never let myself be too attached to anyone because I always depended on myself and every time I got too close to someone shit just hits the fan" – she explained – "I don't know why I thought this would be different" – she added with a weak smile shaking her head
"Whatever happens we just keep moving" – said Thor – "I know I must be the worst when it comes to talk about grieving...but I'm tired of the self-pity" – he started to explain – "when my mother died and I thought Loki died I just kept moving, then later my father died and I kept moving for my people, then Thanos happened taking the life of Loki, this time for real, my people and my friend, then we couldn't stop him and lost part of the universe...that's when I stopped" – he continued
