[THIRD POV]

The red flames... that caught the eyes of everyone who was either on the streets near the burning restaurant or watching the news.

But they didn't see a blonde male shove a smaller (H/C) haired female inside of a black car.

He had always been good hiding though.

Days earlier, the restaurant was doing normal, fine even. It had its regulars, some young adults who visited for some coffee, some old men who judged anyone who passed by them in a different language, and some teenage girls just wanting a place to socialize.

No one came for the pianist, (L/N) (F/N).

Though that all changed the night the restaurant started to burn.

She played silently, her face glued to the keys as the soft tunes filled the air. It was mixed with the clanking of glasses and steady conversations. Nonetheless, she wasn't fazed, if her tunes were outplayed by these sounds, she'd continue to play.

As she paid attention to her movements, at the same time, a few men in high-class aesthetic clothing walk in. They approached the podium, or whatever that wooden block was where the head of the waitress staff escorted them to a table.

It was centered directly in front of the pianist, the pianist and her silence.

The male, who was dressed most comfortably, stared at the grand piano- not in awe, rather in displease.

He hated how she played-

"May I take your orders?"

The high pitched female approached the table of men, looking nervous as these guys clearly were out of her league. The male, dressed most comfortably, did not answer her.

He did not even look her way, instead, his eyes were still stuck on the pianist.

The men around him, however, placed their orders.

"And for him?" she asked the one with the mohawk.

"Uh," he glanced at his friends, then he sighed, "Apple pie, one slice with a coffee, sugar and cream on the side please."

She nodded, seeing that the quiet blonde man hadn't at all disagreed with his friend.

She walked off, the notepad in her hand clutched with the pen now sitting atop of her ear.
