a VERY small but meaningful update :) also forgive for not proofreading, i got food poisoning yesterday and i'm not feeling the best as of right now
"i missed you too, baby."
taehyung whines, "what took you so long to get here? i haven't see you in so long, i was going crazy."
"i wasn't gone for that long, jelly, you seen me last week." jeongguk chuckles as he gently puts down taehyung but continues to hold the latter tightly against his chest.
"still, a week is a long time away from you."
the older rolls his eyes, "alright, alright, my big baby."
"did anyone see you come?"
"of course, as soon as i entered, everyone glared at me like i was the plague, but nonetheless i congratulated hyunjin on his marriage. can't say he was pleased to see me, well, neither was yoongi—seeing as he threatened to shoot me with his glock." jeongguk explains, laughing in between his words.
"as expected of my family," taehyung replies, burying his head into his fiancé's chest, "how much longer do we need to keep this a secret?" he asks curiously, lifting his head off of jeongguk's chest and looks the latter in the eyes.
"a little longer, baby. i'm still negotiating with my grandparents about giving jeongin and i all the shares to the company and leaving nothing for my father and his wife. don't worry, think of it as our little love affair."
"you're making it seem like we're doing something, illegal." the feminine male giggles.
jeongguk shakes his head, "oh how my father would definitely describe our situation, the word illegal would perfectly fit the description."
"is something up with your parents and their shares?" taehyung suddenly asks, making jeongguk furrow his eyebrow at the question.
"i just have to get through this one obstacle. they're thinking of giving my stepmom's nephew their shares of the company, which is just complete bullshit, he has no blood of the jeons."
"well, you found a way for us to be together, i'm sure you'll find a course over this one." taehyung reassured the older male, giving him a bright smile.
the smile made jeongguk's heart flutter, "how was your reunion? i seen the pictures on everyone's accounts—seems like you had fun."
"yes, it was fun, i loved every second of it but everyone kept asking me if i found someone new, even during the time we weren't together, i just couldn't see myself finding anyone else. i just buried myself into school and work."
"i'm sorry i put you through that love."
"jeongguk, we've talked about this. it's all in the past, we both promised each other that it won't define our future—as long as we have each other in the present, everything is okay."
"i got a call from the place and we've got an appointment for noon on thursday." jeongguk spoke up, wrapping an arm around taehyung's waist.
taehyung eyes widen, "really?!" he exclaims excitedly.
the older nods, "yes, they've found the perfect one for us, she was just born and her mom couldn't raise her due to financial issues, so she's ours if we want her."
"of course we'll want her, i've been waiting for this moment for a longtime, ggukie." taehyung spoke excitedly, snuggling deeper into the latter's embrace.
"we'll see her in a few days, i've already picked out a room for her in the penthouse, i'm sure she'll grow to love it as she gets older."
"i love you, do you know that?"
"yes, jelly, i've known it since we were seventeen." jeongguk chuckles and pulls the latter into a sweet kiss.
"i fucking knew it!" a voice shouts.
taehyung shoves jeongguk away as the sudden shouting scares him. the two look to the side and see a flabbergasted hyunjin, who was about two seconds away from going feral, "oh dear, we're in for a ride."

sorry for the short update, it doesn't make up for my long writing hiatus. also, here's a little hair update, i know you can't tell but in the first pic my hair was a light lavender with my overgrown roots lool and the second pic is blonde with light brown ombré roots ... oh i chopped off most of my hair (again you can't tell, lool), what do you think ?? :)

thinking about giving this book about ten more chapters before i officially finish it. if you didn't know, i also made a different account hyjnwrld i will be focusing on my stray kids books too, i will still be updating my kookv books—so no i will not be discontinuing my books on this account.
i'm sorry for being absent these past couple of months. if i'll be honest, i lost full motivation to continue writing and it mentally drains me when i try to force myself to write to try and get something out for you guys. which i don't want to do since i don't like half-assing my updates, leading to the main reason why i'm lacking in posting chapters.
i will be trying harder this year to update more, let's hope i can stick with this promise—don't quote me on this as i just picked up a second job and i'm starting my spring quarter of college :)
