CHAPTER 9: THEM

" H-Hey, (L/N)-san? "

" Please, (Y/N) is fine "

" O-Oh, okay "

I giggled at the green-haired boy's shyness before telling him to continue.

" So (Y-(Y/N), I was wondering, what is your quirk? "

I instantly froze hearing the question as I can feel Tanjiro tense up next to me.

" Oh, now that you mentioned it, none of us here have know what your quirk is yet, right? " Uraraka said, earning some nods from the others while we both share a glance at the corner of our eyes.

" R-Really? " Tanjiro asks nervously.

" Yeah "

Tanjiro and I stayed quiet, sweating slightly as nervous smiles are plastered on our face. If anyone sees this, it is obvious that we both are clearly panicking inside, but I think it is a miracle that none of them seems to notice this. Or so we thought.

" O-Our quirks huh? " I stuttered when they nod at my question.

I nervously chuckled as I lean a little to Tanjiro while keeping the eye contact with them.

" What is our quirks? " I whispered to him.

" I don't know, I never expect this question to pop up " He whispered back.

" Aizawa-san haven't told us what to do in this situation, he didn't even told us if we should answer it or not! " I replied.

We both still haven't responded to their question because we're debating right now about what should we say, and wether we should tell them about Breathing Styles or not.

As were taking our time thinking for the answer, it seems like our classmates have grow more impatient for it.

" So, care to tell us about your quirks? " Sero asks making us flinched when I sense their growing curiosity and I'm sure that Tanjiro has smell it already from the beginning.

" S-Sure! Hahaha " My mouth answer without my permission.

Aaaaaah!!!! Stupid (Y/N)! Stupid (Y/N)!! STUPID (Y/N)!!!

" Then what is it? "

I'm sorry Tanjiro but we have to answer this

They all start to lean closer, Midoriya is ready with his pen and notebook. Even Bakugou who's sitting quietly from us is giving us a glance as he wait for our next sentence.

" Well, our quirks are........ "

Tanjiro and I look at each other and nod, we take a deep breath then exhaled as we're ready to tell them.

But before we could say anything, we're interrupted by the door suddenly being slammed opened, shocking the entire class as a familiar giant figure standing right in front of them.

" I AM HERE!!! "

All of them gasp at the sight of their most idol hero especially Midoriya.

" COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!!! " The hero exclaimed.

While Tanjiro and I let out a sigh of relief at the back.

I mentally thanked him in mind but as we're secretly thanking the hero, we seem to missed the stares that a certain blonde and a white-red haired give us.

What makes them so nervous to answer that simple question? They ask in mind as their other classmates seem to forget about the two and the thing they've been eager to know just a second ago.
