Third POV:
Aizawa finally reaches to the perfume shop so he can take you into custody. The clerk was hesitant to let him in but you assured her that he was your uncle. Aizawa looks at you with a blank face, but his eyes and hand movements indicate he's worried. You roll your eyes and force him into a hug. He hesitates but he hugs you back and exhales slowly.
"Seems like you're worried about me, haha." You say lightheartedly, trying to make him more at ease. "Your actions are worrisome. You need to stop being so reckless. Anzu, you could've gotten in a worse condition than this. Does your dad even know you're here?" You freeze up, forgetting to tell your dad was something you felt a little guilty for. But right now you're just happy to be with your favorite uncle, grateful that he's even considering taking you in on such short notice.
"I'll tell him... tomorrow." You say pulling away from the hug. You give Aizawa a smile and he rustles your hair. "So, how much money did you escape with?" "Uh.... about 10,000,000 million yen" ($88,170.98 in US dollars)."And how'd you manage to do that?" Aizawa raises an eyebrow and crosses his arms. "I went into my savings and the rest is uh... mama's money". Aizawa facepalms himself and holds the bridge of his nose.
"She's gonna kick both of our asses. Thanks, Anzu."
"Oi, I didn't want you to worry about me with money now that I'm staying with you." You nudge his torso playfully with your elbow.
"It's not your position to worry about it. You might be 17, but you're still my niece. At least return some of it to her."
You pause and stare off for a few seconds to think. "Eh, she doesn't need it."
Aizawa flicks your forehead and lightly drags you out of the shop, giving his thanks to the staff for taking care of you. They all wave goodbye and wish you luck. You hop in the backseat of your uncle's sleek black car, laying down with your hands behind your head.
"Ooooo~ this is nice. Out here getting that bank, huh?"
He stares at you through the driver's mirror. "If you mess up my new car, I won't hesitate to make you run 20 miles every day. Are we clear?"
"I dare you, I'll give your cat some cat nip every waking hour of the day."
"Kento doesn't deserve that, stop it."
"Kento's gonna be so high, God's gonna mistake him for being dead." You start laughing loudly and Aizawa hits the brakes harshly, making you fall on the car's bottom."Dammit you know I didn't have my seatbelt on, asshole."
"Then put it on like a good citizen and maybe you won't get hurt when I purposefully hit the brakes."
"You're cruel, uncle." You get up and sit in the seat properly and put your seat belt on. You throw on a pouty face and look at your uncle who's trying not to laugh. He returns to his neutral facial expression. "You hungry?"
"I'm starving. Feed me, peasant." you say in a dramatic tone. "For someone who's reputation is... tarnished, you sure do act like a normal, annoying teenager" he chuckles to himself and keeps driving. You sit in comfortable silence until he gets you two sandwiches from your favorite place (I pictured Panera since their sandwiches are SMACK).Your reputation as a person back home was popular. You were considered a robot, a doll, an emotionless little being. You always had a cute face but a cold heart, one of which did not make up for your beauty. But around Aizawa or your dad you were most comfortable with and could be yourself. You're still apathetic and a little scary, sure, but if the person's right, you happen to be a good friend.
You reach to Aizawa's apartment and wait on him to open the door. "You can go in. Recovery Girl should be in there waiting for you." After she heals you up, she waves goodbye and goes home. Aizawa prepares you a towel, shampoo (he bought three kinds because he doesn't know which brand is best for thick hair), and gives you a t-shirt of his from when he was in college.
