Klaus watched as Bonnie continued to take Borra's breath from his throat, the winged mans face turning purple. He was thoroughly enjoying the view. She could be ruthless when it came to those she cared about, he always knew that, he'd seen it. Hell he'd felt it.

Klaus had been on the other side of her anger more than once, but seeing it from this point, it was easy to see how much she cared about the people in her life. She was willing to throw it away for them, though, now that he was a part of her life he wouldn't allow it. Yet seeing her like this was exhilarating. It reminded him of the night he truly became a hybrid. She was angry, determined and powerful.

"Bonnie" Elijah called to her calmly, his voice bringing her attention to him. "We should get ready" he said gesturing to her state of dress. Bonnie looked down and realized what he meant.

Her dress was ripped, torn from the bottom to her panty line, there was a hole showing her left ribs, not to mention the cuts that were hidden by Klaus's jacket. It was at that moment that she realized she still had it on. She couldn't believe she hadn't noticed before, she'd been tugging it closer around her unconsciously since she woke up.

Bonnie looked back at Borra, letting her hand drop and giving him back his breath. The witch glared at him, hard, as he sucked in as much air as he could.

"I'm not done with you" she said lowly, turning on her heel and walking back out. As soon as she was far enough away, she stopped walking, and leaned against the wall tiredly.

"Bonnie?" She heard someone say softly behind her. The small witch felt a cool hand on her arm, causing a shiver to go down her back. Turning she looked into Elijah's deep brown eyes.

"I'm sorry, that just took a little more out of me than I expected" Bonnie told him softly. Elijah nodded at her in understanding, though worry colored his face. He noticed how tired she looked, her eyes were no longer bright like he'd seen them this morning.

"Come with me, Rebekah has a change of clothes ready for you and there's a bed you could sleep in" he told her softly, making the witch's eyes widen.

"Oh Elijah no, I couldn't, I have to get ready, we have to prepare we don't know when they'll attack" she said, looking away as she thought of everything that occurred that night. She couldn't believe that someone was after her, usually it was Elena, but that wasn't even the most surprising part. The thing that surprised her most, was the Mikaelsons.

"Exactly as you said, we don't know, so it wouldn't do well to have you dead on your feet" he argued calmly. Bonnie looked up at him in surprise as he took a step closer, putting himself directly in front of her. "We will protect you, which means you need to rest, and I will strap you to the bed myself if I have to" he told her sternly.

Bonnie's eyebrows rose in surprise at his words. A heat that she wasn't familiar with growing in the bottom of her belly at them. She had to chase away the thoughts of him strapping her to a bed, now was not the time.

Unable to form a sentence with the thought that just crossed her mind she simply nodded, gingerly taking the hand he offered. As they walked she noticed how cool it was. Her hand lay in his as he lead her towards a room she was unfamiliar with, just watching him as he lead her.

Elijah she could nearly understand, compared to the rest of them at least. While he was still mysterious she understood, he would do anything for his family, and he has. Yet he was still so kind to her, even before their change of heart he treated her with respect.

As he opened a door for her, and gestured for her to enter, Bonnie nodded in thanks. Seeing a change of clothes on the bed she grabbed them, smiling softly at him.
