VIOLA WINCHESTER

𝗠aybe Viola finally lost it. Maybe this strange ability of hers is making her see things, either that or she's just plain crazy. It's a possibility, considering she's friends with Alastor Moody, who is after all called Mad Eye, but she's currently focusing on the mad part of that nickname. She's certain she's either going mad, or her ability is making her see things, or Severus put something funny in her drink, either way she's super sure that she's seeing James around and this time, there's no Harry to mistake him for his father. It's James, in the flesh, with his lopsided grin, his wild hair, his warm hazel eyes and his one dimple. ❨ The first time Viola saw that dimple, she had laughed so hard that she even cried. ❩

She first saw him in her mirror when she was inspecting the butt bruise she obtained a few nights ago. ❨ She may or may have not slipped out the bathtub. ❩ Viola had naturally gotten a fright and when she turned around to scold what she believed was James, he was gone. The next time she saw him, she was Divination, reluctantly helping Trelawney. She was handing out Tarot Cards to the fourth years, and she saw James right at the back, wearing his lopsided grin. The third time she saw him was in Potions, which was yesterday, and that's how Viola came to the conclusion that Severus slipped some hallucinating potion in her drink, though she didn't know why he'd do it, since she was nothing but kind towards him during school, even when her friends were pricks.

Viola then began thinking. Trelawney said that he's going to escape his prison, his grave maybe? Won't be who you think, James maybe? It's an absurd thing but it made sense. She never thought James would come back from the dead, she never thought one could escape their graves. That's how Viola found herself asking the Professors if coming from the dead was possible. When she first came to Hogwarts, it was stated that she should help with hiding something, create a thing for whoever to think. She had used her friends' nicknames, and hers, and mixed them up, along with their names. Only people who knew them would know how to solve that. ❨ She knows that it isn't that hard, but that's the only thing that had came to her mind at the time. Don't judge her. ❩

Viola was currently in Charms, with the first years, who were practicing the levitation charm. She remembered that she got this one right on her first try, she always thought it was because of her strange ability. Her eyes landed on Harry and a sandy haired boy, a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. James had been paired with a sandy haired boy as well, who turned out to be Remus. Her eyes found Ron Weasley next, who was arguing loudly with the girl next to him and Viola immediately stood up, moving towards them.

"Hey guys, is there a problem?" She asked, pulling out a chair and sat on it. The girl sniffed and Viola patted her jacket, trying to see if she had tissue or a handkerchief but found neither of those two.

"Yes there is! She keeps telling me how to pronounce the spell, when I know I'm right!" Ron cried out, his face the color of his hair and Viola frowned.

"What's your name darling?" Viola asked the girl, who looked like she was about to cry. A tiny smile grew on  Viola's face, she too made her partner cry the first time, all because Marlene told her that she's holding her wand wrong and Viola loudly bragged about her ability to her and got the spell right. Marlene had burst out the class after that Viola landed into her first detention, where she met Alastor and the Marauders.
