y/n grabbed the phone that was on her bedside table and picked up immediately as she saw finn's caller ID on the screen
"hey baby girl" said the boy with his raspy voice
"hey baby" she said, sad
"what's wrong?"
"it's just... i don't think i can make it to your birthday baby, i'm sorry" she looked down
he stayed quiet
"it's okay y/n, i know how is going in
y/c/n (city name) with the covid thing and i don't blame you, i appreciate that you did as much as you could"
"thanks, but i'm still sad tho, is you 18th and i can't be there" water forming in her eyes

y/n put her black high converse on and run downstairs saying goodbye to her grandparents and saying that they could come later
she made her way to finn's running and getting in quickly

"i just saw cole's car turning the corner, we have to hurry up"
y/n and mary run to the living room and y/n got inside the box, which was wrapped in wrapping paper, not making any noise
"hey guys! you did that fast" said mary
y/n just heard the voices, it was dark and she started to get anxious
mary noticed the box moving and she hurried up finn to make a wish
