she drove to her apartment thinking about what she said
in front of everyone
in front of finn
it wasn't that she didn't want to tell him

and now it was too late, and probably her friendship with finn was no-existing right now
she reached the parking and got out of the car
she grabbed her things and started walking to the door
as she was about to grab the key from her bag her phone started to vibrate
she grabbed it and saw the caller ID
she looked at it for a second and decided to not pick up
she entered the apartment and went to the bathroom to take a relaxing bath
again, the same caller ID popped out in the screen
she looked at it and once again, she decided to not pick up
she took her relaxing bath and put her pj's on
laid on the bed and turned on the tv
and again, the same caller ID popped again in the screen
but this time, she decided to pick up
"yes?" she spoke up with a calm voice
"y/n..."
"what?"
"i need to talk to you, it's really important, are you home?"
"yes, but i don't want to talk to you, go talk to her, you don't need me"
she was about to hang up but finn spoke up again
"y/n, please"
she sighted
"fine, come over then"
about five minutes later, there he was
standing outside her door, wanting for her to open up
"hey..." he said
she nodded her head and let him in
"so, what was that super really important thing?" she asked sitting down
"i wanted to talk about what happened at cole's"
"pff, nothing much finn, you saw what happened and what she said to me and what i said to her, i think it's very clear" she looked at him in the eyes
he felt like she was staring into his soul
he gulped and talked again "y/n, i know this is gonna sound stupid now but... i've been liking you for about two years now, but then she appeared, walking down the hallway with her shorts and her blonde/brunette hair and i totally forgot about my crush on you" he confessed
"and why didn't you tell me finn?"
"because i thought that you didn't feel the same way, i didn't want to screw up our friendship"
"oh my god, and what am i gonna do now?
tell me"
"i don't know y/n"
"just one question... why are you doing this right now finn?"
he started quiet
"she broke up with you, didn't she?"
he nodded
"cool, i'm happy to be honest, because she was not good to you finn
but... i'm not anyone's plan B, so yeah..."
"just give me a chance y/n, please
i promise you that i'm going to be the best boyfriend you ever had"
and he was right
she gave him a chance and he did everything for and with her
she was glad she gave him that chance
kate was only a funny memory to tell and their friends were always making jokes to y/n with her
which y/n would reply with 'shut the fuck up', 'ugh, i was too innocent and that's why i was her friend', 'oh my god, just stop with that shit already, you're gonna make her come back, and we don't want that, do we?'
now, it was only a story that one day it will be a good one to tell to their kids and grandkids
