y/n woke up due to the light that came from the winter sun
it was 31st of December
which means that it was new year's day
she was excited
mostly because she got to see finn and sit next to him
y/n knew he was dating someone else
but she just couldn't help it
she liked him since 4th grade
they were graduated now
she never confess it, and now it was too late
or not...
y/n got up from bed and started to get ready
the party was only at 8 p.m.
but she had to shower, do her hair and choose an outfit
which was gonna take her almost half of the day
but first, she wet downstairs and grabbed something to eat
she lives in this apartment, that was not on the center but not to far from the city
it was in a very good location
y/n lives with her two sisters and her brother
but they were actually out
her brother, charles, surely was with enya
and her sisters were with cole and quincy
she heard a knock on the door and got up from the chair
she opened the door and found a crying finn in front of her
"finn! what happened? are you okay?" she asked concerned
finn just sober harder and fall in y/n's arms
"s-she... she c-cheated o-on me y/n..." he said hugging her
"oh finn... i'm so sorry, she didn't and doesn't deserve you, she doesn't know what she lost doing that" she got up from the floor and helped finn to do the same, closing the door and walking to the couch
"do you want anything that helps you to calm down?" she asked rubbing his back with her right hand
"water please" he said between tears
y/n went to the kitchen and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge and walked back to the couch
"thanks y/n" he smiled for the first time since he got there
"you're going to the dinner?" she asked changing the subject
"i don't know, i don't feel like it"
"come on finn" she said
"i'll think about it, thanks for comforting me, you're the best, i have to go now, but i'll text you later" he hugged her and walked out
y/n feeling butterflies inside of her
she ignored them and started to get ready
she showered, did her hair and chose an outfit
and when she finished it was 7 p.m.
it was y/n, i mean, she always took so long to get ready
her phone started ringing and she run out of the bathroom to pick up
"yes?"
"y/n/n baby, finn doesn't want to leave his house, i need your help, it's new year and i don't want him alone, please"
y/n heard the desperation on orion's voice
"orion it's okay, i'll go over to his house and try to convince him okay? i'll text you later"
"thank you y/n, i don't know what i would do without you, i love you, see you later"
"i love you too, bye"
she picked up her bag and her keys and walked out, making her way to her car
she started driving to his house, what only took 5 minutes
she knocked on the door and mary opened for her
"he's upstairs sweetheart, try to convince him please" said mary letting her in
"i'll do everything that i can" she smiled and walked upstairs
