Bill's POV
After I had left that horrendous shack, I found myself in the clearing. My face was still leaking, and I couldn't seem to stop it. After a while, it seemed to stop by itself, and I was left to think.

(Y/n) was my soul mate. A demon only gets one soulmate. If it's mortal like mine, it gets reincarnated forever. And once we find them the first time, we will have a connection to them to find them after they die and are reincarnated. How many lives has (y/n) lived? How many memories has she lost?

My brothers had already found their soulmates, and my father didn't want to see me till I found mine. I hadn't seen my family in such a long time, and I doubt they wanted to see me.

I quickly shook all thoughts from my head and decided to check up on (y/n). When I found her, she was at the bus stop. At first, I was worried she was going back home. I realize my first impressions weren't too great, but I wanted to gain her trust before she left, and maybe start a relationship, start some demonic courting rituals and traditions. I wasn't going to get that though, was I? But relief filled me as the twins got on the bus without (y/n). I could tell pine tree and shooting star were very angry with (y/n), but they were gone now, they couldn't hurt her anymore.

As soon as everyone got back to the shack, (y/n) locked herself in her room, obviously upset. She only came out when she had to and was worrying everyone in the shack. I often heard them discussing plans to Cheer her up, and I tried to influence dreams to give them more ideas, including the cabin she wanted to build in the clearing where we first met.

After a week, I had had enough and knew what I needed to do. I waited for (y/n) to fall asleep, and entered her dreams. I was going to Cheer her up, no matter what. I was willing to wait for her.
