"Don't go."

I wrap my arms around my fully clothed boyfriend and entangle my legs with his.

Damn him and his ninja skills.

I slept through him getting out of bed and getting ready for the day.

"I have to." He kisses my forehead gently as he attempts to peel my limbs off of him.

"I haven't been to my apartment since Friday night. I'm out of clothes." He says as he slides out from under my arms, falling off the bed and onto the floor.

"You won't need clothes if you stay." I tease, rolling to the edge of the mattress and looking down at him on the floor.

I stifle a giggle at the sight of him on his back looking up at me.

I lazily hold my arm out to him to help him up but he just chuckles at my gesture, swatting me away.

"I need to go into the outside world too Ari. Unless you want the outside world to see me naked?"

He jumps to his feet and waits for my response, with a raised eyebrow. I stick out my lower lip and pout in my final attempt to get him to stay.

He kisses my forehead once again and caresses my cheek with the back of his hand.

"Are you going to the field today?"
He asks me as I force myself out of bed.

The cool air makes me shiver as it assaults my naked body.

"I don't see why not." Walking over to my dresser, I take out a pair of black shorts and a black tshirt.

"Well Sakura won't be there as she's beginning the next level of her training in medical. And Sasuke is off on a mission."

I sigh. So it would just be Naruto and I.

"Maybe I'll skip the training today." I say as I pull my red boyshorts up my legs before sliding my black shorts up over them as well.

The silver haired man laughs to himself, knowing I'm trying to avoid that number one hyperactive knucklehead of the village.

He sits on the edge of the bed, innocently watching me dress.

"I do have to grocery shop. I'll just do that."

I pull my tshirt over the sports bra I had put on and then zipper up my ninja vest over it.

Kakashi's phone dings from his pocket and I glance at him as he takes it out to check the message.

I walk into the bathroom and brush my hair into a high bun to avoid dealing with it for the day.

Kakashi appears in the doorway, leaning against the frame with his phone in his hand.

"Looks like I have to go see Lady Tsunade once again."

I put the brush down and turn to face him.

"Right. I wanted to talk to you about all that. But you distracted me last night."

"We can talk about it tonight, okay?"

He walks over to me and presses his soft lips against mine.

"I'll text you when I'm done with my meeting."

I nod my head and give him a smile as he walks out of the bathroom and I hear the front door shut.

I finish getting ready and grab an apple from the almost empty fruit bowl sitting on my kitchen counter.

As I'm grabbing my wallet, I feel my phone buzz in my pocket.

I open the unread text message.

Naruto:
Hey, good morning Ari! I think it's just the two of us today. Are we meeting at the field 😄😄
