Riders Pov~

Aiden's fingers slid slowly down the smoothness of my back. My arms were placed loosely around his neck as we swayed slowly to the music. We were in a park gazebo, decorated beautifully with flowers tracing high over the pillars and trailing onto the roof.
"You're so beautiful, you know that?" He asked staring deeply into my eyes.
"I may have been told that once or twice," I said cockily, trying to fight the smile creeping onto the corner of my mouth.
"You know, you're not too bad yourself." I countered, pulling his face closer to mine. He obliged with no hesitation as he stared longingly at my lips. Our mouths were millimeters apart before-

   BEEP BEEP BEEP!
The sound of the mini mouse shaped alarm on my nightstand rang obnoxiously, interrupting my dream, that I desperately hoped would've continued after I opened my eyes. Dreaming about Aiden really wasn't much of a surprise to me. After exchanging "I love You's" yesterday and meaning it in a more than friends' kind of way, had me thinking about him as I dosed off. And apparently while I was sleeping.

"Rider Ashanti Epperson! Will you please stop that damn alarm? I have to be up for work in Two hours." I heard my mom yell from her room across the hall. Rolling over with a loud grunt, I quickly gathered my thoughts and hastily banged my hand on top of the alarm, it stopped instantly.
"Sorry mom!" I responded apologetically.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

"And then he said he loved me too."  I said in awe to my bestie Cynthia. It felt like we hadn't talked in forever. Most of it having to do with everything that was going in on in my life, but it was good to finally catch up. She stared at me, mouth wide open, as I told her everything that happened since I forgave Aiden.

"Oh my gosh, that is sooo sweet," She gushed.
"If only someone would come and sweep me off my feet, preferably Lewis." She said over dramatically, twirling a piece of her short hair from her ponytail.
"Cyn, I'm sure he would gladly swoop you if you manned up and told him how you felt." I glared at her accusingly.
"Well I'm not a man now am I? So how can I possibly man up." She shot back sarcastically.
"It doesn't matter anyway, he's clearly been preoccupied with Addison," she said as her eyes moved from me to something more interesting. When I turned around I saw Lewis, he was indeed giving Addison all his attention.
"You know, I heard at my 16th birthday party Aiden gave her a ride home 'cus she was so drunk. How unladylike." She said, her face mirroring pure disgust.

Just as I was about to reassure her, my eye caught something much more entertaining than Addison and Lewis. Aiden came striding in, all his 6ft something and that dashing smile. Oh that smile, the same smile that was plastered on his face in my dream. Right before we ki-
"Hello? Earth to rider." Cynthia was waving her hand frantically in my face, trying to get my attention. She quickly caught on to what had me so zoned out.

"Oh I see what this is," she teased, wiggling her eyebrows in a zig zag motion. Something I would forever be amazed at.
"Well don't let my boring, nonexistent love life hold you up, go get your man girl." She said shooing me away.

"Cyn stop it. You know I love catching up with you." I reassured before turning away.

As I got closer towards the lunch line where Aiden was, it didn't take long for him to notice me.
"Hey there, what's got you looking so happy this morning?" He questioned, staring at me with those captivating emerald-colored eyes.

"Oh nothing, just a little conversation me and Cyn had." I made sure I left out the part where majority of the conversation was about him.
"Hmm, anything you'd like to share. I could use some excitement." He was giving me a look, like he wanted to say something, but wanted me to acknowledge it first.
"Just how she wants someone to sweep her off her feet, like a certain someone is potentially doing to me." I said with a smirk, satisfied with my response.
"Oh really, and this certain someone may be..." He pressed. Just as I was about to submit to his mini quiz. My phone dinged. It was my mom.
