Ariana's POV

The weekend with y/n went by quicker than I wanted. I really enjoy her company. It doesn't matter what we do or where we are, as long as she's in my presence, I'm happy.

The more I thought about what everyone was telling me, the more i realized that they might be right. I was pulled out of my thoughts when my doorbell rang

"Coming" I lightly shouted

I opened the door and saw Vic standing there with the biggest grin on her face.

"Hey Ari" she smiled

"Why are you here?" I asked

"Wow, thanks" she laughed

"No, it's just, it's my day off" I said

"I know. I'm actually here to talk" she said

"I was kidding. Come in" I said moving aside

"Do you want something to drink?" I asked

"You got orange juice?" She asked

"Uhh... sure" I giggled

I disappeared in the kitchen and got her orange juice. When I came back, I saw vic smiling at something on her phone

"What's got you all happy?" I asked

"You know that dude I went on a date with?" She asked

"Yea" I said

"We hit it off really good" she said

"What's his name?" I asked

"Justin" she smiled immediately after sting his name
(Just real quick: Victoria isn't with John in this and she's not pregnant)

"Wow you must really like him" I smiled back noticing how happy she seemed

"I do. We're actually going on another date soon" she said

"I'm so happy for you" I hugged her

"Don't get me wrong, y/n is amazing and all, but you know" she said

"I totally get it" I said

"I just see more of a future with Justin" she said

"Enough about me, tell me about you" she added

"Vic, you know I'm not in a relationship" I said

"I know, but surely there's a special someone" she smirked

"Nope" I said

"Don't lie, Ari" she said

"What are you even talking about?" I asked

"Dude, you and y/n have a special bond. That's why I'm backing off of her" she blurted

"Oh god" I laughed

"Judging by the shit eating grin on your face every time i say her name, something happened. SPILL THE BEANSSSS" she said, yelling the last part

"Maybe we kissed" I mumbled unclearly

"What was that?" She asked

"Maybewekissed" I said fast

"Slower and clearer" she said

"We kissed" I finally said

"Oh shit. Spill" she said

"Well, she came over, we ate, we drank a little, got a little drunk, and we just kissed" I gave a short, simple explanation

"That doesn't even count" she said

"What how?" I asked

"You were both drunk" she said

"I wasn't done" I said

"Oh my b" she said

"We both remembered the next day and we ended up kissing AGAIN. Both sober. In fact, we had a whole make out." I said

"Oh shit. Get ittt" she said

A blush took over my cheeks

"Did anything else happen?" She asked with a smirk

"No. But it almost did" I said

"But..." she said telling me to continue

"She said, and I quote 'let me at least take you on a date first' I was frozen right when she said that" I replied

"Oh shitttt. Are you gonna go on date with her?" Vic asked me

"Should I?" I asked

"DUH" she said loudly

"Maybe I will" I smiled

"I'm writing a song about her" I blurted

"What?" She asked

"Yea. Let me show you. I thought of some lyrics when we were drunk, and quickly wrote them down" I said grabbing my notebook and handing it to her

"Heaven sent you to me?" She asked, obviously reading the first line

"Yea. I said that to her when I was so drunk off my ass" I laughed

She laughed back and continued reading the song the lyrics

"This all you got?" She asked finishing the last line

"Pretty much" I said

"You're trying to meet her mom on a Sunday and fuck on a Monday?" She asked

"Well when you put it that way" I laughed

"I have some ideas. Can I?" She asked grabbing a pencil

"Please" I said

"Holy shit" I said as we both finished the song

"This is good as fuck" she said

"We're recording this on Tuesday" I said

"So tomorrow?" She laughed at me

"Oh shit. Yea" i laughed, forgetting what day it was

"I'm so down" she said

"Yes!" I cheered

"She's coming tomorrow" I said

"Who?" She asked

"Y/n. She promised me she would come to a studio session with me" I said

"Oh shit. Get ittt" she smirked

"Shut up" I said laughing as I pushed her shoulder

We sat in silence for a few minutes as I looked over the song

"You deserve to be happy, Ari" Vic said breaking the silence

"I know" I whispered

"She clearly makes you happy. Be happy" she said

"I'm just scared" I said

"She's incredibly sweet, I don't think she'd do anything to hurt you" Vic said

"I know. Thank you" I smiled, hugging her

"Let yourself be happy" she said into my neck as we hugged

"I will." I said back
