Y/N POV

I think it's safe to say that I made a good first impression on Ariana's family. In only the few hours that I spent with her family, I can tell they all care for each other and want nothing but the best for Ariana, and quite frankly, I want to give Ariana nothing but the best. I know I've only known Ariana for a short amount of time, but I truly care for her.

As I'm finishing up my last meeting and walking to the stairs to go back to my office when I see Frankie just walk in.

I quickly whip around to greet him

"Frankie?" I asked

"Y/n, just the person I'm looking for" he said coming to me

"How can I help you?" I asked

"I wanted to talk... about Ariana" he said

"Oh okay. Come with me to my office?" I ask

"Sure" he smiled

We walked to the elevator and got in. Once we're on my floor, I led him to my office.

"So what's up?" I ask sitting behind my desk as he sat on the black leather couch

"Well first, thank you for coming to dinner on Saturday" he said

"Thank you for having me. I really appreciate it" I smiled as he smiled back at me

"We were happy to finally meet you. Ariana just would not shut up about you" he said

"Really?" I asked

"Yea, it was always y/n this, y/n that" he said

"She's too sweet" I smiled just thinking about her

"I think she really likes you" he said

"I really like her too" I smiled

"No, like she realllyyy likes you" he said dragging the really

"You think so?" I asked unsure

"I know she does" he said

"I realllyyy like her too" I said copying his tone

"I've noticed she's been really happy lately and now I see you're the reason why" he said

"All I want to do is keep her happy" I said

"And you should. You both like each other, might as well go for it" he said encouraging me

"I don't know Frankie, I haven't been in a relationship in a while" I admit

"And that's okay. Just don't hurt my sister or I'll hurt you" he said seriously

"I don't plan to" I said

"You should ask her out" he blurted

"What?" I asked

"You should ask her out. Think about it, she's very beautiful, popular, and caring. She probably has people lining up to date her" he said

Well that doesn't make me feel better

"How do I know she even likes gi-" I got cut off

"She likes one girl, and that's you" he said

All I could do was nod as I listened to him

"You like her, she likes you. You're successful, she's successful. Come on, it's couple that's bound to happen and it might as well be sooner rather than later" he said

He does have a point

"I know" he said

"Oh, I said that out loud" I said

"Yea" he said

"It's not that I don't like her Frankie, it's that I haven't been in a relationship in a while and I don't wanna fuck up" I said

"Ariana hasn't dated anyone for a while too. She's been hurt a lot, but since you've come along, she's been happier and everyone can see it" he said as he looked at just watch

"I have to get going, but think about what I said" he said getting ready to walk out my office

"And no need to walk me down, I heard you like to do that" he teased

That caused a blush to creep up on my cheeks.

I let Frankie's words sit in for a few. Maybe I will go for it with Ariana. I mean we both flirt with each other non stop, we're always with each other, and I really like her.

I'm pulled out of thoughts when my door opens.

"Heyyy" Ariana said walking in

"Hey" I smiled

"Whatcha doin?" She asked

"Nothing really" I said

"Aren't you gonna ask why I'm here?" She asked

"No. You're always here" I laughed

"True" she laughed back

"So what's going on. You look like you were thinking pretty hard" she said

"I wasn't. I just got done talking to your brother" I said

"What?" She asked

"Yea, your brother came here to talk to me" i said

"My brother did what?" She asked still not processing it

"Me and your brother talked" I laughed at her

"What about?" She seems nervous

"He just wanted to thank me for coming to dinner" I smiled

"Is that all?" She asked

"yea" i said

"Hmm. Okay. Well i was wondering if you wanted to get some lunch?" She asked

"I mean yea, but I still have thirty minutes until it's time" I said

"I'll wait" she smiled

"Okay" I said

"So what did Frankie say exactly?" She asked

"He just thanked me for coming to dinner, and we talked a little about you" I said because I knew she wouldn't leave it alone until i told her

"Why? What did you guys say?" She asked

"Relax. Nothing but good things" I said

"Like..?" She asked

"Apparently you couldn't shut up yo about me" I teased

"He- he said that" she stuttered

"Mmhm" I hummed

"What an asshole" she joked which caused me to laugh

"But really, everyone loved you" she said coming closer to me

"I'm glad they did. First impressions are everything to me" I said

"Same here" she smiled as she sat in my desk

We're now holding eye contact with each other.

Within a matter of seconds, she gets up from my desk and straddles my lap while I'm in my chair

"Thank you for coming" she whispered stroking my right cheek with her thumb as her other hand held my left cheek. I could feel her minty breath on my lips

"Thank you for inviting me" I whispered back

Just then, she smiled and closed the gap with a sweet kiss.

In this moment I realized Frankie's right. I realized I'm willing to risk it all for this one girl right in front of me and I'll do exactly that
