Game night

Y/n POV

The week flew by within a blink of an eye. The usual happened. Meetings, negotiations, and Ariana occasionally stopping by. We've grown pretty close over the past few days. Texting non stop and Snapchatting funny pictures to each other. She's actually really cool and not how I thought she was gonna be at all. I guess I was expecting her to be the stuck up, rude type, but I was so wrong.

Just as I'm finishing up my last email, I get a text message

Hey, a few of my friends are coming over for a game night, wanna join ?

Yay! I'll text you the address

Sounds good

I grabbed my stuff and got ready to head out as it is already eight pm. I stop in my tracks and see that Samantha is still here

"Samantha, go home" I said

"Really?" She asked

"Yes it's Friday, go have a good weekend" I said

"Wow, thank you so much y/n" she said

"You work too hard, go enjoy yourself" I smiled

"Thank you. Have a good night" she said grabbing her stuff and heading out as well

"You too" I smiled

I made sure to lock everything up and made sure all of the lights were off before going to my car.

Okay don't take too long :)

I smiled and responded back with a quick I won't and made my way home. As I pulled into my driveway I hear barking

"Zeus, hey buddy" I said to my german shepherd before bending down a little to pet him.

"I missed you too" I said

I set my keys and my phone down and went straight to my room. I decided a quick shower won't hurt since I probably smell like my office. Once I'm done with my shower I blow dry my hair and get dressed into a grey crew neck and black jeans. Casual but not too lazy looking.

I get more water for Zeus and send Ariana a text letting her know I'm on my way.

The drive there was short, considering I listened to music the whole way. Once I pulled into the driveway, I noticed two more cars there as well. Must be her friends. I straighten out my clothes, wanting to make a decent first impression and knock on the door

"Coming" I heard a soft voice yell

"Y/n you made it!" Ariana smiled

"Of course" I smiled back

"Come in, let me introduce you" she said

She walked to the living room and I followed

"Guys this is y/n Knight. Y/n this is Courtney, Scott, Brian, and Victoria" she said pointing to everyone
