Ariana's POV
Few weeks later

I'm currently packing up all my clothes, making sure to take a couple of y/n sweat shirts just In case I really don't see her ever again. I needed to accept the fact that y/n needs time away from me. Maybe that's what we both need so that way I have time to work on my issues

I haven't stopped crying since though, I just can't bring myself to pull it together for more than ten minutes

"Come on boys" I told Toulouse and Myron

Piggy was already ready, but the boys were playing with Zeus. The sight brought tears to my eyes. Knowing that they've gotten really close to Zeus only for me to rip them apart

"Coming?" I asked as I wiped the tears off my cheeks

It's a little after four and I told y/n that I would be out by noon, so I'm running late. I just had to take a few minutes to cry. Reality was hitting me and it was hitting hard. I didn't want to leave, but this is what y/n wants and needs, so I have to respect her choices

As I was grabbing my suitcases with all my shit, the front door was unlocking

I stopped dead in my tracks when y/n walked in

"Oh, hey" she said with puffy eyes

"Hey" I said in a small voice

There was a silence

"I uh, I was just leaving" I said

She nodded as I was walking to the door with the dogs

"I'll see you soon buddy" she said patting him

Maybe she was just saying that for him, but Myron also went up to her and licked her

"You too" she smiled at him

I laughed, but it was a broken laugh

"Come on boys" I said

I wanted to get out of there before I really broke down into ugly sobs

Y/n took a deep breath before speaking

"Ariana?" She asked

I just turned around and looked at her with tears in my eyes as she walked closer to me

"I don't want you to think I'm doing this because I don't love you" she said cupping my face with both hands

"Because I do love you.. so much" a single tear fell down her right cheek and that caused me to break down

"I love you so much, but right now, we need time" she said

I just nodded

"You meant everything to me and you still do. Nothing will change that" she added as she rubbed my cheeks with the pad of her thumbs

"I love you too" I cried

"I love you so much" she said as she pulled me into a hug

We cried into each others shoulder. The ugly crying when you shake too

"If it's meant to be, maybe we'll find each other in the future" she said as we pulled away

Again, I just nodded

"Can I kiss you?" Was all I could say

She nodded

I stood up on my tippy toes and she leaned down. We shared our final kiss, it was a sweet kiss. Our lips molded together perfectly, just like the first time we ever kissed. A few tears for each of us got in the way. There was no desperation in the kiss, just pure emotion

"I love you" I whispered with my forehead leaning against hers

"I love you too" she whispered back

I separated from her and walked to the door

"We'll find each other again, some how, some way, I promise" she said

I nodded

I gathered all my things and animals and walked out the door. I got the dogs settled in the car, but I didn't bother getting in yet. I looked the house up and down as memories replayed in my head from the first day I came here, to the first day I moved in.. well, now again, tears started to fall down my cheeks, but I needed to leave, so I got in the car and went to the only place I knew where to go right now.. my old house

"Ariana whats wrong?" Victoria asked

She met me at my house because I was crying on the phone with her while I was driving her

"she left me. She actually left me" i sobbed and leaned into her

She wrapped her arms around me and stroked my head

"Shh, shh, shh. It's okay" she said

"Let's go inside" she said

She grabbed Toulouse, Myron, and piggy fork the back seat

"Let me see your keys" she put her hand out

I gave them her and she unlocked my door. The familiar scent hit my nose and that's when everything really set in

"Tell me what happened" she said as we sat on the couch

It took me a little to gather my words, but when I did, I explained everything to her. Every. Little. Detail

"Then she said if it's meant to be, we'll find each other later" I continued to explain as tears fell down my cheeks

"You will find each other later in life. Just not right now. These things happen and that's okay, okay?" She asked

All I did was nod

"It's going to be okay" she and

"You'll get thorough this. I know you're hurting right now, but you'll get through this. I'll be here, court will be here. Your family will be here... through all of it, okay?" She asked

I nodded

"I need something verbal" she said

"Okay" I said with a voice crack

She sent me a sympathetic smile and wrapped her arms around me

"I love you, Ari" she said as I kept crying
