Ariana's POV

"Shit, I'm so late" I said to myself as I was walking down the side walk, rushing to the studio. Los Angeles is one of the busiest places in the world, so I should have known to leave earlier Incase I ran into some fans.

I have my notebook full of lyrics in one hand and my coffee, phone, and keys in another. My phone dings and I quickly unlock it to see a text from Tommy

Yo where are you?

Be there soon, sorry I'm late

Tommy
No worries just try and hurry

As I'm typing my reply someone shoulder checks me causing me to drop my book which allowed all of my papers to fly out of it. I look up and see it was a guy talking on the phone

"Dude really?!" I shout at him as he kept walking. All he did was shoo me off

As I'm frantically trying to gather all my papers, I hear a voice

"Here let me help you" a soft voice said

"I- no, it's fine I got it" I said without looking up at her

"No really, let me help" she said bending down to help pick up my papers

"That guy was an asshole for doing that" she said

"Yea, well people are assholes" I laughed a little still not looking at her

She picked up the last paper and stood up. I looked up only to have the sun block my eyes

"Here" she said holding her hand out for me to take. I accepted

"Whoa" I said under my breath

"I mean uh, thank you. So much" I said

"It's no problem, really" she said

"I'm Ariana" I said extending my hand out for her to shake

"I know... I uh I mean, I'm y/n" she said taking my hand

I raise my eyebrows signaling for her to tell me her last name since she already knows mine

"Y/n knight" She said with a smile

"Hmm, any relation to Knight records?" I asked

She had a confused look on her face

"Everyone knows Knight Records" I shrugged

"True, yea, it's my label"

"Let me guess, daddy's record label?" I asked

"Mm, no, my record label" she responded

"No shit? How old are you?" I asked impressed

"Twenty six" she responded

"Holy shit. Okay, successful I see" I said even more impressed

"I could say the same about you Ms. Grande" she smiled showing her pearly white teeth

I lightly laughed before I spoke

"I have to get going to the studio, because I'm extremely late, but maybe I'll see you around?" I asked

"Yea, maybe" she said handing me my notebook back

"Thank you, again" I said

"My pleasure. Have fun singing your heart out pop star" she said

"Nicknames already?" I giggled

"Yea" she said

"I like it, see you around Knight" I smiled and walked away.

Within five minutes, I made it to the studio

"What took so long?" Tommy asked greeting me

"I was walking, then some douche bag bumped me and knocked everything out my hands, then this really nice girl helped me pick everything up and I guess I got caught up talking to her" I explained

"Ah, I see" he said

"Did you get her name?" He asked

"Y/n Knight" I couldn't help but smile because of her kind gesture

"Knight as in Knight Records?" He asked

"That's her" I said

"That's sick. I heard she's one of the best labels" he said

"I know" I responded

"What are we talking about?" Victoria asked walking in

"Ariana ran into Y/n Knight" Tommy said

"For real?" She asked

"Yea, she helped me pick up all my papers" I said

"I hear she's really nice.. and don't even get me started on how hot she is" Victoria added

"Yea, id hit that" Tommy said

"I'd let her smash" Victoria shrugged

"I mean she's pretty but i don't know about all that" I laughed at them

"You say that now, but watch, when I pull her, you're gonna be so jealous" Victoria said

"Does she even like girls?" I asked

"Yea, she's bi.. you didn't know?" Tommy asked

"I just met her" I said

"Yea, but it was all over the news when she came out" Victoria added

"Who the fuck watches the news" I laughed

"Well TMZ too" Tommy said

"Makes sense" I said

"Alright, let's get started, shall we" Tommy said

"Yea, I'm ready" I said

"Me too" Victoria said

Tommy played me a few beats and I hopped in the booth.

"Two songs down, let's goooo" Tommy said

"You sounded amazing Ari" Victoria said

"Thanks guys" I responded

"Did you wanna do anything else today, or are we good?" Tommy asked

"I think we're good. I'm gonna go home and write some more" I said

"Okay cool" Tommy said

"Call me if you need any help" Vic said

"Will do. Thanks again guys. Love you" I said hugging them both

A short studio session is just what I needed.

I know us Ariana Stans are happy for her, but heart broken at the same time. God knows I'm crying my eyes out. It feels wrong to write this fan fic now but it definitely won't stop me.
