The First Girl (Minho x reader)

Chucks arrival

It had been exactly a month sense you had been sent to the glade, and exactly a month sense you meet your friends. You were excited and sad about this. Excited because there would be a bonfire tonight, sad because someone else would be forced to come here. You were weeding the gardens and the runners would be back any minuet.
"Go ahead (y/n)" Newt said and you ran to the maze doors.
You sat down and it wasn't five minuets before Minho ran out of the maze and sat down next to you
"What's wrong shank?" He asked making you smile
"The greenies coming up today, I'm upset that someone else has to be thrown in here" you sighed
"It's ok, if he gets to be friends with you he'll be one lucky shank" Minho said and you smiled
"Aww Minho, when did you become cheesy"
"Shut up shuck face" he said nudging your shoulder
Suddenly an alarm rung through the glade and you looked at Minho
"That'll be the greenie"
"He's late this month, I'm usually still in the maze when they come up" he said
"How do you know it's a boy, they might send another girl" you asked him as you walked to the box
"You think?" He smirked
"I'd be nice, it's hard being the only girl" you sighed and looked at the box
"Gally pulled up a young boy, he looked about 12, and said
"Heya shank, welcome to the glade"
The boy looked at Gally with pure terror and you stepped in
"Your scarring the poor kid Gally"
You crouched next to the kid
"Hey greenie, what's your name?" You asked softly
"C-chuck" he stuttered and you smiled "well Chuck I'm (y/n)" you pulled the boy to his feet and Alby walked over.
"Hey greenie, I'm Alby" he said but Chuck just hid behind you
"Hey Alby, I think I got him for the tour, you guys are freaking the poor kid out"
"Ok (y/n)" he said walking off and you turned to Chuck
"Ok Chuck let's go" the boy fallowed you as you showed him around the homestead, box, bloodhouse, deadheads, slammer, and where he would sleep.
"Ok greenie, that's the glade" you told him and he looked at you
"What's a greenie?"
"Um it's like the new person, you'll have to cope with being called that for about a month, when the next greenie comes" you explained
You walked to the bonfire and went around introducing him to your friends.
"That's Alby, he's in charge here, over there's Newt, the annoying Brit"
"Hey!"
"He's the second in command and an over protective brother figure to me, Zart, a gentle giant, Gally, he's an ass most the time but he can be nice when he wants to be."
"Love you two (y/n)" Gally said as you walked passed
"Get over it Gall." (Yours and Gallys relationship had improved dramatically sense the race) "Anyway, there's Ben, an annoying squirt"
"I'm taller and older than you!"
"Frypan, he's a cook, Jeff and Clint, the medjacks, Winston, keeper of the blood house, and that's Minho, he's a sarcastic shuck face, but he's my best friend"
After making introductions you sat next to all your friends and talked
"Here Chuck" Frypan said giving him a gar of Gallys recipe
"Oh no you don't" you said snatching it "he is like twelve and this is alcoholic"
"Fine" he said defeated
"How about some music, Minho would you be so kind as to go get my radio!" You asked and he grumbled and walked to go get it
"Are you two a thing?" Chuck asked and you blushed
"No but they will be soon" Newt answered for you and you blushed harder, taking a sip of Gallys recipe
Minho came back with your radio and you turned it on. After a couple songs, one of your favorites came on and you grabbed Newts arm
"Come on I want to dance!" You pulled him out by the fire and you two danced around. Ben cut in and before you knew it you were being passed around from glader to glader dancing away. Heck, even Gally spun you around a couple times. You grabbed Chuck and spun him around. When the song changed you were back to Newt but Minho cut in and you two danced the song, no one else cut in
"Whys she acting like this, she never dances in front of people?" Frypan asked and Gally replied
"We MAY have made her drink a little stronger"
"You did not" Newt said laughing, watching you and Minho dance.

The song stopped and you two were now dancing to the clapping of the gladers. He spun you around and when the clapping stopped so did you. You looked in Minhos eyes for what seemed like hours and then said. "That was fun!" And went back to sitting next to Newt
"You know they spiked your drink right?" He told you and you laughed
"I barely drank any if it, if you think I was dancing because I'm drunk your wrong"
You jumped up and ruffled Chucks hair
"Well gentlemen I bid thee goodnight, see you tomorrow"
When you were out of sight Frypan said "I was sure she was a little drunk"
"No, that's just her" Minho said still grinning goofily from dancing with you
