I held the umbrella tightly in my hand as I walked down the cobbled sidewalk. The large fabric covering my face in a shadow.

I looked to the left, not paying attention to where I was going, keeping my sights on the cars that whizzed by.

Before I knew it, I accidentally stepped into the person coming from the opposite direction.

"Watch it, Scrubber." He growled at me as he pushed past me.

"So sorry, dear." I squeaked in apology, my English accent flawless.

He was short with grey hair. Not easily recognizable, but easy to forget. He wouldn't last long with the Fox Council.

I was just doing him a favour.

I continued on my way, the male already forgotten.

I slipped my hand into my purse, placing the male's wallet inside.

My fingers now played with the perfectly pressed invitation I did not have seconds earlier.
