I'll try to update as often as I can but I'm usually pretty busy so I'm not sure how often I can. This is...
"Harry?" I said on Christmas morning, opening a big red box from Harry. "yeah?" he responded.
"You got me..." I trailed off, starring inside the box. Inside was a brand new set of light pink and brown roller skates. I had wanted this exact pair for two years but my parents said it was to expensive.
"Harry, you didn't...you shouldn't have..." I breathed, pulling out the beautiful skates.
"Well I did." He said plainly, then he broke into a smile and kissed my cheek. "Well go on, try them on!" He urged.
I put them on and tied them up. "They fit perfectly!" I exclaimed, hugging Harry around the neck. "Hey wanna go down and try them on the grounds. a part that isn't covered in snow." He suggested.
"lets go!" I said, taking the skates off so I could walk.

*just pretend that's you at the castle grounds*
"there wonderful!" I shouted as I skating around and around the stone ground. Harry smiled brightly at me as I passed him for the third time.
I felt more free then I had ever in my entire life. Life was good, my boyfriend next to me, the sun bright in my eyes, the wind blowing my hair.
For the first time since Harry's name came out of the Goblet Of Fire I wasn't stressed, I wasn't anxious. The best thing about this year at Hogwarts was that me and Harry had finally found each other.
*Harry's pov*
Y/n looked so happy as she skated around me. I knew Y/n had wanted those skates for a long time but I hadn't gotten them until now.
I smiled at my happy girlfriend. Wow she was really good at skating.
I noticed that she looked more happy, more free maybe? The only thing about those skates was that they cost a pretty penny indeed, more then my fire bolt for sure. But I didn't care about the cost because it was worth it.
*Back to Y/n's pov*

The following weeks after Christmas were pretty chill, except on New Years Eve when Fred and George ran through the castle, lighting off fireworks while yelling "Happy New Year to all!"
Although it was still a long time until the second task, a storm of worry was brewing in the pit of my stomach, growing every day. Harry still didn't know what the task was and he had only until the 24 of February to figure it out.
Today was the 12 of January, a breezy, cool day, perfect for sitting down by a tree and reading a good book. So I decided to walk down to the lake and read Little House On The Prairie.
