"Lili, calm down. What's wrong?" Rosé asked calmly, even though her heart was pounding in her chest. Her mind instantly went to the worst-case scenario, knowing that Lisa had been out with Mina all day.

"I'm sorry," Lisa repeated, still crying into the phone.

"Did... did something happen with Mina?" Rosé questioned, needing to what happened between the two. She was almost breaking down just thinking about it.

"W-what?" Lisa said as she tried to catch her breath. "What do you mean?"

Rosé took a deep breath, not sure if she was ready to hear the answer. "Did you and Mina kiss?"

"No!" Lisa shouted into the phone. "Why would you think that?"

"Oh my god, don't scare me like that," the black-eyed girl let out a small sigh of relief, but she was still worried why Lisa had called her in the state she was in. "I know Mina likes you and you were out all day with her and then you called crying and apologizing, so I couldn't help but think that something happened. You almost gave me a fucking heart attack."

"Are you serious right now?" Lisa couldn't help but laugh playfully into the phone. "You were out with Jungkook all day, but you were worried about me and Mina?"

"I mean, yeah, I guess." Rosé instantly felt guilty, knowing Lisa was right. She was being ridiculous, holding a double standard, thinking it was okay for her to hang out with Jungkook but turn around and accuse Lisa of doing something with Mina.

"Rosie, I was calling to apologize for getting so upset earlier," Lisa admitted, her cheeks finally clear of the tears that had been falling moments earlier. Her voice was still raspy as she let out a sigh. "I know now that you were telling the truth earlier and I should have trusted you. I just don't like him still being around and that's why I got so upset. So I'm sorry for that. And also, you have nothing to worry about with Mina and me. I really don't think she likes me like that. She gave me a hug when she brought me home but that's because I was moping around all day."

Rosé laughed to herself and shook her head, thinking that she should be the one apologizing instead of Lisa. It was her own fault that they were in this situation anyway. "Lili, you don't need to apologize. I should be the one who's sorry. I hate putting you in this position and I hate making you upset," she said softly. She decided to leave the Mina comments go, not wanting to get into that conversation with Lisa right then.

"Well I'm sorry I worried you, then," Lisa replied sincerely. "I was just so upset earlier and I couldn't stop thinking about you all day and when I got home it all just came crashing down and I was so scared I was going to lose you," the tears started forming in Lisa's eyes again as she admitted why she had broken down before.

"Lisa, please don't cry," Rosé said when she heard the other girl's voice crack on the line. "I've told you this before and I'll be more than happy to tell you a million times over, but you're not going to lose me. I'm right here. You're what I want, okay?"

Lisa nodded her head, then realized Rosé couldn't see her, so she mumbled out a small "okay."

"Good. I care about you more than I'd like to admit, you know," Rosé chuckled softly. "And I hope you plan on keeping me around, too."

"Of course," the younger girl smiled into the phone.

"No more crying, okay?" Rosé smiled when she heard Lisa laugh softly on the other line. Her heart had slowed in her chest and a smile washed over her face. As much as she hated Lisa being so upset, Rosé liked the fact that the younger girl was so scared of losing her.

The two girls talked for a few more minutes before saying their goodbyes, and Rosé went down to the kitchen to see when dinner would be ready. Her mother asked if she had a good time with Jungkook and Rosé just grunted in return. She wanted to explain to her parents about Jungkook, and she wanted to tell them about Lisa, but she was too nervous. She didn't want to upset her parents again and she most definitely did not want her parents to ban her from seeing Lisa, just like they had with her ex-girlfriend. Instead, she avoided any more questions from her mom by making her way into the living room to watch tv with her brother until dinner was ready.
