You awoke to the sound of rustling. Your eyes shot open at the sudden influx of noise. Sitting up, you looked at Pidge as she rushed around her room, confused as to what she was doing. Soon enough, she turned to face you, shaken at the sight of you being awake.

"Morning, y/n! How long have you been up?", she asked. You shrugged your shoulders and started to get out of bed, walking towards her and crouching down, looking at what she was doing curiously.

"Not long. What're you up to?", you asked, voice sounding rough from just waking up. She stayed silent for a minute, focused on her work, before replying,

"Just heading to the green lion's hangar. Want to get changed and come with me?", Nodding, you stood up again, grabbing some clothes and going to the bathroom. While changing, you endeavoured to forget about the nauseous feeling in the pit of your stomach but as expected, it didn't work. After a short struggle to push the lid of the toilet up, you ended up hunched over the toilet, heaving.

Your whole body began to shake as you threw up into the porcelain bowl, a cold sweat lingering on your forehead. At some point, Pidge managed to get into the bathroom, and she took to sitting beside her h/c friend, waiting for her to finish with a worried look on her face.

"Are you feeling alright?", she asked in a gentle voice, rubbing your arm. You ran your hand through your hair, pushing it back, and gave a small nod. Looking you over, she seemed uncertain, but let it go and helped you to your feet before letting you steady yourself.

"Thanks,", you spoke weakly. She simply smiled and put your arm over her shoulder, guiding you to the green lion's hangar and supporting your weight in case you felt faint.

"Are you sure you'll be okay here?", she pressed on, pushing her glasses up slightly. Not wanting to worry her, you offered a smile and nodded. She seemed sceptical, but she nevertheless let it go, sitting down and grabbing a chair for you to sit on.

"Hey, Pidge, what are you doing?", you asked, watching as she typed away, presumably coding something. She jumped a little, not expecting it, but soon relaxed.

"Well, I'm just seeing if I can add any new abilities onto the green lion to make her more effective in combat.", she replied, grinning widely and pushing her glasses up. 'But the lions are already so amazing... why would she want to improve it?', Deciding it best to keep your thoughts to yourself, you leaned back in your seat, simply observing as she got to work.

After around 30 minutes, Coran's voice came through on the speaker, saying, "Pidge, please come down to the detainment room,". She groaned in annoyance, rolling her eyes before shifting her attention to the girl sitting next to her.

"Y/n will you be alright by yourself, or do you want to come with me?", she asked. Thinking for a moment, you pondered your decision. You didn't want to be alone; the mere thought of it made your stomach churn. It reminded you of the hours on end you spent, crying out in agony as the dread of your next visit built.

"Is it alright if I come with you? It's just... the castle is giant, and I don't really like being alone,", you pleaded, biting your lip. She didn't respond, just quietly closed her laptop and pulled you along with her as she made her way to the detainment room.

Upon reaching your destination, your eyes immediately were met with a familiar, cold violet gaze. Keith's previously smug expression turned to one of discomfort, catching sight of you as soon as you entered the room.

"Pidge, why would you bring her along with you?", his voice was low, and it was almost as if he was snarling.

That tone was all too familiar to you. Backing away slowly, you didn't stop until you were safely tucked behind Lance and Pidge, hands turning white as you clutched their jackets tightly.
