"Whatever,", he mumbled, turning to give Hunk a strange look who, in return, kept staring at him. "Are you... trying to see if my skin is purple?", his words came out slowly, a sceptical look on his face as he looked at Hunk in anticipation for an answer.

"No,", he made a face, but the staredown was luckily brought to an end by the sound of Allura's voice.

"Hunk, Keith, are you there? Can you hear me?", she hollered, sounding quite flustered. You rolled your eyes; why did she leave you out?

"Hunk, Keith and y/n here,", he replied, as if reading your mind. "What's going on, princess?"

"You must return to the castle! I need you!", her tone was desperate, and the three of you shared a concerned look before turning back to her and nodding.

"We're on our way,", Keith assured, his arm pulling you closer, as if he was scared to let you go. With that, however, the video cut off, and you took it as a sign that a wormhole would open soon and take you all to her. "You're staying with me, in the red lion, okay?"

"Are you sure? I'll probably just cause you trouble,", he shook his head, looking you straight in the eyes.

"You won't cause me trouble, because I'd feel much better knowing you're safe with me,", he smiled softly, making you smile, too. "And after that, we're going straight to the healing pods so you can get a check-up,"

"As much as I love your lovey-dovey behaviour,", Hunk began, startling the two of you out of your little moment. "We have to prepare to fight,", you flushed in embarrassment, seeing as you'd forgotten Hunk was there and could hear the conversation the two of you had just had.

With that, the wormhole opened and Hunk flew through it, being greeted by the sight of both the blue lion also leaving a wormhole and the castle with its particle barrier activated. What you weren't expecting, however, was to see a rather intimidating creature attacking the castle, and soon enough you, too, as it shot a vibrant green laser beam at the two lions as they flew in front of the castle.

"Woah! How is that thing operational? It doesn't have a head!", Lance called out, his voice going up an octave as he did so. The thought of everyone being back together pleased you, but a reunion was hardly the main focus right now, seeing as the castle was under attack.

"I don't know, but I'm sure it has something to do with those crystals,", Pidge suggested, you nodding at the idea.

"Can't worry about that now. We have to protect the castle,", Shiro's instructions were followed by a long whimpering noise that didn't seem to have come from anyone you knew. Brows furrowing, you ignored the random noise, now leaning over Hunk's chair and staring out of the lion's front to get a better look at the perpetrator.

"How did we beat it last time?", Keith questioned.

"We formed Voltron, then I stuck my bayard, and shot it with my blasters right in its arm lasers. But that didn't stop so then we had to punch it,", Hunk recounted, giving the team a better sense of what needed to be done, and how to do it.

"So we're gonna need Voltron,", Shiro declared.

"But we only have two lions,", Pidge countered, highlighting the predicament they were in. Unless they could get access to the other three lions, they were screwed. And right now, it was looking like one tricky situation to be in, even with all five lions.

"Well, maybe we can form the legs and kick it?", everyone gave Lance a deadpanned look: the boy had not thought before he spoke. They had no time to comment on it, though, as another blast swept through the air, the two lions barely dodging the hit, and the blast hitting two planets instead, and blowing them up, the flames engulfing all that was around it, including the castle and the lions.
