A/N: P.S. I will be using google translate for some parts of the story. I know it is far from being accurate and I wish I knew the beautiful language myself but I unfortunately don't, so please don't come after me ha.

A week had went by and Andrea was due for her first ultrasound of her baby.

Andrea waited in the lobby of the clinic, filling out paperwork when she was called back by a nurse.

"Andrea Marie Capaldi," the nurse shouted.

Andrea stood up, taking her purse and paperwork with her. They took her weight, temperature and vitals before the doctor came in to see her.

"I hear we are expecting," the female doctor smiled as she put on her gloves to do the examination. "Let's see if our suspicions are right."

After hearing the fetal heartbeat and the sonogram on the computer, Andrea was seeping with joyous tears. She had only hoped that the father, or at least her mother would be present for this. But she knew deep down inside it wasn't an option. At least not yet.

"Since we know you are eight weeks along, we should get you started on some prenatal's," the doctor says, writing on a prescription notepad and handing it to her. "I would also like to see you three weeks from now to just make sure everything is going as it should. So, if you don't mind making an appointment with the receptionist out front we can get that squared away. It was nice meeting you Andrea, and congratulations on your baby," they shake hands and leave their separate ways.

After scheduling another appointment, Andrea walks out of the clinic, looking down at the picture of her baby. Without paying attention, Andrea runs into someone. The picture goes flying out of her hand and onto the ground. Both people bend down to grab it when Andrea notices the hand reaching for the ultrasound had a familiar red ruby ring on her left hand. She freezes as they both stand up as she stares straight at the person in front of her.

"Bianca?" Andrea questions with hesitance. Bianca was her cousin on her moms side of the family.

Bianca stares down at the picture, she covers her mouth in shock as her eyes go wide.

"Andrea," Bianca gasps. "You're pregnant?"

"I-I can explain," Andrea stutters.

"Damn right you need to explain!"

"I was going to-"

"Do your parents know?" Bianca asks which Andrea shakes her head no. "Does anyone know?"

Once again, Andrea shakes her head. She could feel her cousins excruciating judgmental eyes on her.

"I want to tell them when I am ready," Andrea explains, her head casted low.

"Until when? When you start showing? Andrea, this isn't something you can hide from them. They are going to find out and when they do they are going to be furious."

"Don't say that," Andrea snaps. "For all you know they will be happy for me."

"Come on, Andrea. You know how are family is. We are old school."

"Maybe this time it will be different."

"Why? Just because you're the baby? No, Andrea that is only going to make things worse. I can't believe this," Bianca flusters.

Andrea wipes at an angry tear that slipped from her eye. Bianca notices and tones down her frustration towards her cousin.

"Look, Andrea, I'm sorry for not being happy for you. Trust me, I am. I'm just trying to look out for you. I know we haven't been close for years now, but we are family and nothing can change that. But you need to tell your parents or someone else will. It's better if it comes from you. Just know that secrets don't last very long in this family."
