Marie is just fine (whew!) Unfortunately, Melody is still unconscious. She also has internal
and external bleeding in her head, and severe bruising (our floor is concrete). The doctors said
they need to keep her in the hospital until she is a bit better and then take her for more testing.
Rosalie and my mom feel very guilty for leaving all the little ones with me and Selena.
Selena feels horrible that she left when she should've been there to help me keep an eye on
the little ones. I just feel sick to my stomach that I let that happen right in front of me. My mom
decided that our house simply isn't safe for babies. It's time for us to move. We looked at a lot of
different houses, until finally we found one that has a large bedroom, and 2 medium sized
bedrooms with a bathroom, and a smaller room beside each. There was also a small room (or
big closet), a medium room, a kitchen, and a living room. It was perfect! We decided that my
mom would get the large bedroom, Rosalie and I could have one of the medium bedrooms,
and our babies could sleep in the room beside ours. Selena did the same with the other
medium bedroom. Hannah and Melody are so much older than the babies, and they sleep at
different times, so they got the small bedroom (we put a baby monitor in it). The medium room
without a room attached we made into a playroom. It was carpeted and we put a couple rocking
chairs in it, along with a bunch of toys. It was a place that was completely baby-proofed and
safe. It was also the only room that we could let the little ones on the floor (it just isn't possibly
to keep the entire house totally baby proofed, and there just aren't enough of us to watch them
carefully enough).
