It Started With A Crush

Chapter 13

Laura finally had enough of it, and asked to see the manager. When he came out and

Laura explained to him what had happened he said that the waiter was completely right, and

Rosalie and I have to leave. So Laura and Selena stood up, and helped me to my feet since

I was still supporting Rosalie. Rosalie was still uncontrollably crying, but who can blame

her. She's a 14-year-old girl with 5 young daughters who are products of rape from her own

father, she can't even remember her mother who died when she was 3, and she's pregnant with

who knows how many more babies because a judge gave her father custody. Then she gets

judged by people who don't even know her. I at least was given a choice with my girls, although

this pregnancy was most assuredly rape. With all that cruelty and prejudice we almost just want

to give up on the night, but we don't. We sit in the car until Rosalie regains her composure, we

get some food at Subway, then head to the mall. At the mall people stare at Rosalie and I as if

we're freaks. One woman even came up to Rosalie and told her she is a worthless idiot (I

wonder how these people would have reacted if she knew that we each had 3-5 children

already).
