amelia spent the day anxiously awaiting 5:00, the time that the girls had arranged to meet in ginny's dormitory. amelia ended up getting there a little early, just in case.

"hi ginny!" amelia greeted the younger weasley when she arrived at her door. amelia and ginny had grown up together, and they treated each other like sisters.

"hey!" ginny pulled amelia into a tight hug. "you're the first person here. let me see your dress!" ginny excitedly gestured towards the dressing bag that amelia had carried with her.

"alright, alright!" amelia giggled, putting the bag down on ginny's bed as she began to unzip it. she pulled out a long, dark red ballgown. it was the perfect, gryffindor shade.
