I was laying on the couch, with my feet resting on my boyfriends lap.

I was very bored.

"Pete?" I asked.

"Yeah?" He asked, not looking up from his phone.

"I'm bored. So bored." I said.

He chuckled. "And what can I do, Aly Bug?" He asked.

"I don't know, just entertain me." I said, chuckling.

"How about we go play some games?" He asked.

"Like what?" I asked.

"Like, Monopoly." Pete suggested.

"Ew, no." I said. "Let's go outside."

"Alyson, baby, it's pouring down rain outside." Pete said.

"I don't care." I said.

"Of course you don't." He chuckled.

"Peeeeetttteeee." I whined.

"Okay fine. But if I get a cold you are taking care of me." He said.

"Deal." I said

"I'm talking like seriously taking care of me. I'm talking breakfast in bed, helping me shower, and bringing me everything." He said.

"Okay, Peter. Fine." I said.

He chuckled.

"What are we planning to do outside?" He asked.

"Play soccer." I said.

"Ooh, fun. Soccer in the rain." He said.

We would have a lot of fun. I knew it.

We went outside and played one on one for about two hours. We were both soaking wet, and at one point I tried to take the ball from Pete.

"No you don't!" He yelled.

He scooped me up and spun me around, laying me in the mud. My blonde hair was stuck to my face.

"Let's go inside." He said.

"Okay." I said, smiling.

He scooped me up and carried me inside.

After we'd sat inside awhile, neither one of us had taken a shower.

"We really need to change." I said.

"What? You hoping I won't get sick? Trying to back out of the deal?" Pete joked.

"No I just-" I broke off with a sneeze.

Pete whirled. "Don't you dare." He said.

"What?" I asked.

"I know damn well that if you get sick you're gonna make me take care of you. That wasn't part of the plan." He said.

"Does anyone plan to get sick?" I asked.

"Yes. Me. So you can be my little helper." He said.

I rolled my eyes. Then sneezed again.

"Alyson, baby, stop it." He said.

"I can't help it." I said.

"Ugh. Go take a shower. I'll make you some soup." He said.

I smiled and stood up, kissing his cheek.

"Love you." I said.

"Love you too." He said.
