I waited at the airport impatiently for Fall Out Boy's plane to land. My best friend, Brendon, stood beside me. After almost six months, my boyfriend Joe was coming home. He and the band had been on tour around the world, but their last show had been two nights ago. He was coming home to stay.

I bounced on my feet. Any other day the plane would be early.

"Reese! Calm down!" Brendon said playfully.

I shook my head so hard my brown hair fell into my eyes. But I didn't care. Because I found him.

He was coming down the escalator, holding a suitcase. When he saw me, his eyes lit up. I'm sure mine did too.

"Joseph!" Brendon yelled before I could. I smacked his arm.

Joe stepped off the escalator, dropped his suitcase, and took off running across the airport. I ran too, and jumped into his arms. He caught me and spun me around. I buried my face in his neck, and wrapped my legs around his waist.

"I missed you." I heard him say.

"I missed you more." I said.

He hugged me tighter. "Not possible."

He set me down, and I blushed. Everyone in the airport had seen our passionate embrace. I didn't regret it though.

Joe cupped my cheeks and kissed my mouth. i gasped against his mouth. I wasn't expecting that one.

He pulled away and smiled, then went over and picked up his suitcase. I followed him, and he wrapped his arm around my waist and led me out of the airport.

"What do you want to do?" Joe asked as we got in the car.

"How about we go get Ruby, and some mcdonalds, and we'll eat that and watch movies all night." I said.

"Sounds like the best night of my life." Joe said, kissing my cheek. Wow. He was being touchy feely. That was unlike him. He must've really kissed him.

So we got in the car and went to pick up his daughter, and then went to McDonalds. We ordered our food and then asked Ruby what she wanted.

"I want chicken nuggets, and fries, and a toy, and a cup, and sprite, and a top, and a top-" she said while kicking her chubby little legs back and forth.

"We got it baby girl." Joe said with a grin.

I smiled. I loved Ruby. She was so cute. And she was certainly daddy's little girl. Which I couldn't blame her for. I loved Joe too.

We got Ruby's happy meal and we took her home. After watching about two hundred episodes of SpongeBob Squarepants, she fell asleep in joes lap.

He smiled as he looked down at her. "I love her so much." He said.

"She missed you." I said. I had visited her a few times while he was gone.

"I missed her too." Joe said. "And you too. God, I missed you a lot."

I smirked. "What did you miss?" I asked.

Joe thought about it. "I missed your voice, and I missed cuddling with you at night. Andy just isn't the same." He said, making you laugh. "I also missed watching you play with Ruby, and the sound of your laugh. I missed those pretty brown eyes, and I missed holding your hand. I missed kissing you, and everything else about you. I thought about you every day."

I smiled. "Go put Ruby in the bed, will you?" I asked. "Because I want to kiss you without waking her up."

Joe smiled and stood up, carrying his daughter to bed. I couldn't wait to go to bed tonight, because for the first time in too long, I'd be in the arms of the man I loved.
