"Holy fuck," she said through our joined lips. I pulled away.

"Right?"

Someone cleared their throat a second time, and I turned around. My hand meeting up with my hair again.

Holy shit.

"Dad," Sage said.

"Sage," He lifted his chin looking at me. "Cole Brock. Famous YouTuber. Making out with my daughter." He was smiling, I wasn't sure if it was shock or horror. I'd never been in quite the situation—sure I had a few wild nights. But I never pinned someone's daughter against the wall and had my way with her for her father to see.

I extended a hand. "Nice to meet you... sir."

He shook my hand, speechless.

"Dad. I didn't know you were coming in today. You said you were busy with other stuff." She stepped up into the studio and drug a hand through her hair, pulling herself together.

Her dad held a hand to his forehead. "I didn't know I was until your mom asked me to stop by for some supplies. She's doing an outdoor renovation two blocks over. Cole Brock."

I nodded. "Yes. That's me. Sorry you had to see that."

He exhaled. "Would I be a bad parent admitting I'm a little proud?"

"No, sir not at all." I laughed, looking at Sage.

She rolled her eyes. "Well now, that the two of you met. What does mom need?"

He ignored her. "How do the two of you know each other again?"

"He's my number neighbor. I told you about this." She explained.

"Yeah, but you didn't say he was Cole Brock famous half of the YouTube duo ." He pulled out his phone and pointed at it. "Can I get a picture? I'm sorry you probably hear this all the time. But my buddies would shit their pants if they knew I was standing here with Cole Brock."

"Dad," she warned.

I shook my head. "It's fine. It's the least I can do." He snapped the picture and then another one.

"Yeah, Sage. It's the least he can do considering..."

I laughed, her dad laughed. Everyone was laughing but Sage.

"How about one together?" He moved next to me. "How tall are you again?"

"5 foot eleven, sir." I smiled for the photo. An actual smile.

"You don't have to call me sir. We're practically family after what I saw."

"I should head out." I gestured toward the door.

She nodded, following me. Her dad was still standing in the doorway wide eyed.

"I should have warned you my family is very forward. They say whatever is on their mind."

"Not worried. It's refreshing. I don't get home that often." I fished my keys from my pocket. "Thanks for allowing me to come kiss you again."

She waved. "You're welcome, YouTuber Cole Brock." She smirked.

I climbed into my car, leaving her on the sidewalk in shock, while I tried to learn how to breathe again after that kiss.
