Winter came by and all her close friends knew about her secret of joining the Order but also being a spy. Marlene thought it was badass like those Marvel muggle comics.
Then there was Lily, Dorcas, and Alice fretting over the girl they considered the baby sister of the group. Eventually, it was Remus who snapped them out of it. He wasn't all for it either but he understood why she chose to do it.
James and Sirius thought it was crazy. Overprotective prats tried to convince Dumbledore to think of a way to kidnap her from the De Martel's which earned head smacks from their girlfriends.

"Have you ever thought that maybe...maybe we can run away and start a new life for ourselves. Our family name won't matter anymore."
The blonde tried to stay awake, wanting to go to sleep when Regulus was finished writing a letter to his parents.
Regulus glanced up from his parchment paper and tilted his head acutely. The blonde pursed her lips at how adorable he looked. Though the frown and pout weren't helping the situation he was in.
Reyna had the audacity to play with his hair and make two space buns after he lost a game of chess.
"I wish it were that simple." Regulus sighed as he placed his quill down and peppered kisses on her shoulder and inhaled her caramel scent.
"The world we live in now has become complicated," Reyna murmured. Here they are both fighting the opposite sides, yet trying to escape it all.
Regulus pressed a kiss at the corner of her lips and examined her face. Reyna's eyes drooped tiredly. "You have to go to bed, love. I'll join you in a minute."
"But I want to wait for you," Reyna whined childishly.
The Black chuckled and carried her to his bed. He placed the duvet covers over her and used his wand to light up the small fireplace in his room. "Too bad, I don't want you to get sick."
"I won't get sick."
"You played in the snow all day with those Marauders." Regulus scrunched his nose in dislike.
"It's not my fault Sirius and James are literally children," Reyna murmured and snuggled against the soft pillows. Her eyes opened wide-eyed that resembled a child's curiosity. "Has...has it been doing anything? Your mark?"
Regulus pulled his sleeve to reveal the mark, "Not...not since summer passed. I still have to complete the first trial and prove my worth. It's nothing to worry about."
"I have to worry over my boy ─ the love of my life."
"Love of your life huh?" Regulus slowly smirked and kissed her lips. He pulled away and tried to look positive, to make himself and Reyna believe that he was just fine. "Once I prove to him that I'm capable enough to be in his ranks, we'll be safe."
Reyna wondered what his task is and wished she would have insisted on answers from Regulus, however, the future was already set.
Peter Pettigrew was on the brink of joining the Dark Lord's army. He started questioning his doubts about his friendships with James, Remus, and Sirius. Lately, he's come to the terms that the boys seemed so much closer as three than as four.
He slowly worried that if Reyna were to find out about his task assigned by the Dark Lord himself.
The De Martel would have to gather information on her own in order to not get him killed or herself a death sentence as well.
"Reyna I want you to promise me that if something were to happen to me, run away from the wizarding world...go into hiding." Regulus pleaded suddenly to an already sleeping blonde.
Regulus chuckled slightly and blinked away his tears. He narrowed his head and kissed her forehead. "Goodnight love."
"Have you noticed Sonia lately? She's been distancing away ever since Finn broke up with her." Marlene frowned walking beside Lily, Alice, and Reyna outside to the Quidditch field to watch the Gryffindor's practice.
Well, the only reason they were here is to watch James and Sirius practice.
"Yeah...I try to be there for her, I do my best but all she'd do is snap at me. Maybe it's because she accused me in front of everyone at the library of being a Death Eater, but was wrong about it." Reyna sighed. "I hardly recognize her anymore."
Sonia even went as far as replacing her with Pricilla Parkinson.
"She replaced me...I get that I haven't tried to talk to her all summer but with everything going on back home." Reyna mumbled in hurt. "My parents are all for Regulus becoming a Death Eater and having me married off." Reyna sighed in disgust.
She could see herself getting married to Regulus but right after her education? Reyna wanted to focus on her career instead before thinking of those things.
"What a bitch." Marlene scoffed. "Always knew there was something wrong with her."
"She's foul...rude..." Alice tried to form the words. "A liar. I can't believe her."
"I think the best thing to do is to cut her off," Lily said to the gloomy De Martel. "It was hard to cut Snape out of my life. But my life has gotten so much better. If Sonia is going down a path that you can't follow nor does she treat you right then you have to let her go."
Reyna's doe eyes darted to the shrill laughter coming from Pricilla Parkinson. "You're probably right."
"It will hurt...a lot but there are people around you that make your life better." Lily smiled, she was secretly referring to her boyfriend James Potter. Reyna knew deep down that cutting off Severus was for the best. She didn't hate him. But she had to because the boy she once knew no longer fit the image of who he once was, and that was the boy back at Spinners End.
James Potter turned her whole life upside down in a good way. He made her feel confident about herself where she isn't ashamed to be a muggleborn witch.
"Regulus and your friends are there for you...I may not know him very well but he treats you right. Don't let Sonia Patil be a negative thing in your life.
