Chapter 6- One Hell Of A Guard

(Y/n) POV

You chuckled seeing them turn tail and run for it. You already had a plan watching them turn the left corner in their panic. You looked over to the other hallway having memorised the entire building by now after 10 years of wandering around. You ran the way you looked only to show up in front of them a good few minutes later causing them to scream and run the other way again. You giggled and went after them until you saw another triple split hallway.

You grinned as they turned to the right while you in turn continued straight. You turned a right up ahead and arrived in front of them again with a laugh.

"Sorry, were you trying to continue down this way? How 'bout you take the other path?" you smile, nodding to the other hall that they just realized was there. Didn't take long for them to run for it down the path either.

Everything was going to plan.. and you couldn't wait to see the look on Hajime's face when he gave up on waiting for them to make it down.

You continued to run after them before going another hallway and arriving right in time to turn them the other way just for them to realize they were in the same hall that held there cell.

"WHAT!?" Uno was the first to yell, completely shocked and surprised.

"I guess this round goes to her..." Nico giggled, already knowing they weren't going to make it either way with Hajime.

Jyugo stared at the door of his cell surprised and silent while Rock only sighed in disappointment.

You laughed softly to yourself taking out your keys.

"I think I agree with inmate 25.. this round goes to me. I wish you luck for the next run at it though!" you smiled, ushering them all in with a push.

Once they were all in you locked the cell door before radioing Hajime.

"Wait what!? You got them already!?" he yelled through the speaker, obviously surprised.

You nodded even though you were speaking thought speaker and gave a soft 'yeah' in reply.

"Good job.. I think you'll make a good guard in this building. Explain how you did it in my office" he said before handing up.

You put your walkie talky back and looked back to the four boys watching through the bars.

"Who are you lady?" Rock asked first, while you only shrugged.

"I'm tired. That's who. Now lunch should be coming in soon, so if you're hungry it'll only be a little while. Behave until then, please and thank you" you stated, a soft look in your eyes while they all stared at you in wonder.

Just who were you?

As for you. You couldn't help but feel the need to go soft on them. They all carried a curse with them and she couldn't help but be kind to her teammates, but it wasn't just that. As Kuu she always hung out around their cell and they were always so nice and gentle with her. So she'd play nice and gentle with them. That little run and chase could have gone very differently if she wanted it to. She was also used to going rough on the inmates after serving under Enki while he was head guard or whatever.

"I'll be coming in on night patrol for now. This was just a test for me to prove myself worthy of the position" you shrugged, before turning around. "I hope to see ya again.. hopefully it won't be in a game of cat and mouse"

They slowly nodded. Not saying anything.

"But we'll be able to see you again during the day, right?" Uno quickly asked before you could walk away.
