One night when "she" found a missed call on her phone, on instinct she called back. And when the sound of an unknown boy came, she was too agitated to listen to him. The "boy" on the other side, shy and nervous, was simply frightened.
But how could...
She hadn't received his call the day before and Atharva was really worried about it... What was the reason? Why did she stop responding? Was it because he asked her to meet him? His head was full of questions with no one left to answer him. Seeing his friend's state, now Avinash decided to take the matter in his hands.
After Atharva was asleep, Avinash decided to call Riya once from Atharva's number. If she won't pick up the call, he'd try from another number and be persistent.
And the phone was picked up in just two rings. Heavy breaths could be heard from the other side.
"Hello?"
"Hey Atharva, you idiot, listen. If you don't call Riya again, I'll kill you. This is Riya's new best friend who may already be carrying a knife in her hands and is ready to find you. My friend has been depressed and I just cannot see her like that! Understood?"
This was what Avinash heard from the other side as soon as she picked up the call. Her voice was furious like a kitten which shocked him and a smile made way onto his face.
"Just tell Miss.Murderer a.k.a. your best friend that Atharva's scared best friend called her. And tell her to pick her phone up from the next time. By the way, you sound just like a kitten. And... Your threat seems empty. Bye, until next time."
