"I'm sorry" were his next words after calling her insane and having a hard time adjusting to her sarcasm.
And his genuine apology instantly melted her for reasons unknown "Its okay. I just don't have many friends."
And after hearing these words, he felt quite comfortable in speaking with her as their situation was quite similar i.e. with a non social crowd, "Wanna be friends then?"
For a minute or so, there was no response from the other side and his social anxiety was at its peak when he suddenly heard, "Okay!"
And once again, she brought a beaming smile on his face. With that, he hung up the phone this time.
She herself was very happy and saved a number for the first time as 'Friend'. There was a reason why she had stopped saving numbers but this time, it was definitely different for her.
A smile etched on her face was suited for the arrogant girl who was going for night time grocery shopping and the people passing by may think that she's insane but still she was happy after a long time.
And once again her cellphone rang which she quickly picked up seeing the caller ID, "Yes?"
"I forgot to ask your name!"
