"Friends are those who sometimes know more about you than your family."

Atharva was now asleep after his long day at college full of assignments and extra work assigned to him being the teacher's pet which even he knew was something he didn't want to bed.

In the meantime, Avinash had sneaked in his room just to get his phone to see who he had been calling everyday, about whom Atharva's little sister had been complaining...

He opened the lock by putting Atharva's sister's birthday, quite obvious for the best friend to know and saw Riya's contact at the top which definitely confirmed his early suspicions.

And soon he called her, sitting in his best friend's living room.

"Hello?" Her tired voice greeted Avinash. And that's what urged Avinash to play a prank on her.

"I know your secret." Avinash's voice made her confused. This was definitely not Atharva. But still she was ready with her sassy comeback.

"You are gonna have to be more specific there, buddy. I have a lot of skeletons hid in my closet."

Her response was too scary for him. With his sweaty palms, he ended the call with a loud beep making the girl on the other end laugh knowing this was most probably Atharva's friend or maybe sibling.

Atharva on the other end was woken up by his terrified best friend with the question, "Are you calling a murderer daily?" Atharva had laughed in his face and then he'd recited the tale of how he'd tried to prank call her.

"I believe that spying was the very thing I'd told you not to do."

"Did you really think I'd listen?"

And with that,
both of them laughed.

And with that, both of them laughed
