Seeing Atharva pacing from one corner to another with a bright smile on his face, Avinash was rather shocked was an understatement. He stood frozen with his eyes set upon Atharva. But after a minute or two, he spoke," Atharva, tu kontyaswapnachya jagat aahe? " (Translation: Atharva, you are in which dream world?)
Athava was quickly back to earth and snapped his eyes towards his friends who held a mischievious smile, "Mulgi midali ka?" (Translation: Got a girl?)
And there stood Atharva blushing from the tips of his ears to this neck, while he shouted, "Gappa bas yaar!" (Translation: Shut up bro!)
While on the other side Riya herself was busy finding some number eagerly on her phone and as soon as the number was connected, she left a content sigh and the call was picked up.
Mother: " Beti? " ( Translation: Daughter? )
Riya: "Haa mumma!" (Translation: Yes)
Mother: "Kaisi ho? Mumbai mai sab theek?" (How are you? Is everything alright in Mumbai?)
Riya: "Mai toh theek hu. Aap kaise ho?" (I'm okay. What about you?)
Mother: "Beti, tumhare papa tumhe yaad karte hai." (Translation: Dear, your father is missing you.)
The smile left her face and Riya said, "Mujhe uske baare mei baat nahi karni." (Translation: I don't want to talk about it.)
"Theek hai beti." (Translation: Okay, child.) Her mother sighed.
